Does the cooldown on hitting a hooked survivor has changed?

I don't know if this is happening just with me, but in every match, when I hook a survivor and right after hit him, it doesn't have the hit cooldown anymore as it used to happen, it acts as if the hit was passing through the survivor and hitting the hook instead, not having a cooldown for a successful attack on survivor.


If this isn't happening just with me, was this change on purpose or it shouldn't be happening?

    Pretty sure it's intended. I think it was because survivors were using the hooked survivor to bait a hit then farm? Not 100% sure though.
