Rebound Control's Do Not Stay The Same On Switch

On the Switch version of DBD the "Hook Struggle" interaction is set to A by default, I personally prefer B so I would set it to this when I first started playing on switch, then I noticed everytime I quit out of dbd and go back into it, the hook struggle changes to A again so I check the survivor settings and what you know my controls reset to default and this has happens everytime since the switch version was released a month ago.
So now I would have to change the hook struggle to B every single time I load up my game not exactly big issue but is annoying, has any of the devs on here known of this issue and are looking for a rework around it?
