How was The Entity created in the first place?

As a huge fan of this game, the Entity is in control by all means. But how is the Entity in control, or what is the Entitys orgin anyways?

    well I like to start off that it was created when the universe was created that form other universes. Like The Darkness from The Darkness game series. I believe many monsters we see in other universes and this one was randomly created or is a spawn somehow of a monster that was worst than them.

    So like as one of the gods, it went corrupt and sealed off another realm such as a spirit world?
