My Toolbox Change idea to bring back Sabotage

This is my Idea on how i would change the Toolboxes.


I tried to Achieve this :

  • Make Sabotage stronger again.
  • Give Toolboxes a fixed number of Addons ( hopefully all Items will work like this )
  • ( 1 Ultra Rare / 3 Very Rare / 4 Rare / 4 Uncommon / 3 Common Addons )
  • ( for this to work i had to create my own addons wich are: "Basic Instruction", "Screwdriver", "Machinery Oil", "Advanced Instructions", "Replacement Box" and "Muffler" )
  • Make the Toolboxes easier to understand for newer players.


Worn-Out Tools:

A metal box containing out of condition tools that could break at any moment. Even without training, can be used to repair or break various mechanical components.

- 40 Charges

- increases Repair speed by 5%

- Unlocks the Sabotage action.

„You call these tools? … Really?“


Toolbox:

A metal box with speciallised mechanics tools. Even without training, can be used to repair or break carious mechanical components.

- 80 Charges

- increases Repair speed by 5%

- increases Sabotage speed by 5%

- Unlocks the Sabotage action.

„It is unclear as to where these tools come from. Were they brought in by one of us or did they belong to one of the monsters?“


Mechanic's Toolbox:

A metal box with specialised mechanics tools. Even without training, can be used to repair or break various mechanical components.

- 120 Charges

- increases Repair speed by 10%

- decreases Repair sound by 4 meter.

- decreases Sabotage speed by 10%

- Unlocks the Sabotage action.


Commodious Toolbox:

A larg metal box containing basic tools and extra mechanical parts. Even without training, can be used to repair or break various mechanical components.

- 120 Charges

- decreases Repair speed by 10%

- Increases Sabotage speed by 10%

- Increases Sabotaged Time of Sabotaged objects by 20 seconds.


Engineer's Toolbox:

A metal box with highly specialised tools meant for engineering. Most of the tools can be used by neophytes to make quick repairs or break various mechanical components.

- 140 Charges

- increases Repair speed by 10%

- decreases Repair sound by 8 meter.

- decreases Sabotage speed by 10%

Alex's Toolbox:

A metal box containing mainly saws and vice grips of carying sizes but also other tools. Even though the content of this Toolbox is clearly aimed at destructive deeds, it can be used to repair various mechanical components as well.

- 140 Charges

- decreases Repair speed by 10%

- increases Sabotage speed by 10%

- increases Sabotaged Time of Sabotaged objects by 40 seconds.

Thick gloves, which reduce menial dexterity but protect hands from injury.


- The success zones of sabotage and repair Skill Checks are increased by 25%.


*Grip Wrench*

An adjustable wrench with a tough grip. Essential in any Toolbox.


- The success zone of sabotaged Skill Checks are increased by 50%.


*Clean Rag*

A mundane rag. Suspiciously clean.


- The success zones of repair Skill Checks are increased by 50%.


**Uncommon**


*Scraps*

Springs, screws and gears. Mostly unusable junk.


- Adds 20 Charges to the Toolbox.


*Basic Instructions*

Someone quickly painted what seems to be basic Toolbox instructions on this piece of bark.


- Increases the Toolbox efficiency by 5%.


*Screwdriver*

A Basic Tool that can not miss in any Toolbox, getting screws out of objects will be Considerably easyer with it.


- The Skill Check Needle of Sabotage Skill Checks moves 20% faster.

- Gain 100% more bloodpoints for Sabotage Skill Checks.


*Machinery Oil*

A Oil that will make pistons move Considerably easyer.


- The Skill Check Needle of Repair Skill Checks moves 20% faster.

- Gain 100% more bloodpoints for Repair Skill Checks.


**Rare**


*Wire Spool*

A portable but heavy spool of copper wire.


- Adds 40 Charges to the Toolbox.


*Advanced Instructions*

Someone carefully painted what seems to be advanced Toolbox instructions on this piece of metal.


- Increases the Toolbox efficiency by 10%.


*Cutting Wire*

A rudimentary cutting tool made from a jagged metal wire and two wooden handles.


- Increases sabotage speed by 5%.


*Socket Swivels*

Swivels provide bend and flexibility for bolts that are out of reach, deep within mechanical devices.


- Increases repair speed by 5%.


**Very Rare**


*Replacement Box*

A small Box, it contains a number of replacements for broken Tools.


- The Toolbox will gain 0.25 Charges per second back while placed on the Ground.


*Hacksaw*

A small hand saw mounted with a metal cutting blade.


- Increases Sabotaged Time of Sabotaged objects by an aditional 20 seconds.


*Muffler*

A Muffler to reduce annoyingly loud sound made from mechanical devices.


- Decreases Repair sound by 4 meters.


**Ultra Rare**


*Brand New Part*


This intricate mechanical part geels oddly out of place. It is clean and shiny as if straight out of the factory.

- Toolbox Repair action is replaced with Install Brand New Part.

- Installing the Brand New Part will complete 15% of a Generator over 5 seconds.

- During the install, you will be faced with 2 difficult Skill Checks.

- Hitting each Skill Check will result in 5% progression each for a maximum of 25% added

progression.

- This Add-on is consumed on use.
