Remove undetectable from Myers tier 1
Previously myers without undetectable was able to be completely counter perks like Obj of obsession, spine chill, premonition, and aura reading perks. This was to insure that myers could be able to get out of tier 1 as fast as possible.
Now with undetectable, myers isn't immune to spine chill and premonition, which nerfs this killer. Myers without the stealth from perks such as spine chill and premonition, makes its more difficult to tier up from tier 1 and essential killers scratch mirror myers.
Remove undetectable from myers, he doesn't need it since it nerfs him. His old tier 1 immunity was perfectly balance.
If undetectable won't be removed, then buff his tier 1 movement speed to 108%, 109%, or 110%.

Why should he be the exception to the rules that govern all the other stealth killers?
12 -
Because t1 myers is super slow. Almost No-blink Nurse level slow.
1 -
I want my spine chill buff, it works on every other stealth killer, so why not Myers?
7 -
I main Myers and disagree with this, I think he's great where he's at.
3 -
This is a sidegrade.
Undetectable means his terror radius is 0 without needing a perk. This is especially important for scratched mirror myers since he relies on having no TR so this just gives him an extra perk slot. Well worth occasionally being slightly less effective against Spine Chill users.
6 -
You can also moonwalk to gens if spine chill is a problem.
6 -
As is Pig in her stealth mode. Same with Ghostface without addons. Wraith is the exception to the lower speed but at the cost of coming out of stealth.

+1
In all fairness, moonwalking doesnt help when you're trying to stalk ppl. I still dont think spinechill will be that much of an issue though.

Cause unlike other killers, he starts out with a 105% movement speed, that's the second slowest base movement speed in the game.
Sure his terror radius is 0 without needing a perk, but the 105% movement speed is detrimental to his performance, especially during the gen rush meta.
Myers in tier 1 is just like a trapper, or hag, he needs to setup (aka get into tier 2 and stalk enough so he can get into tier 3) in order to put pressure on survivors.
Myers is one of my mains, and this undetectable really hurts him more than it helped him.
Same as I said before, other stealth killers like wraith and ghost face don't have to start out with a reduced movement speed.

That is true but like you said, it shouldn’t be much of an issue.
1 -
Wraith still has to slowdown and uncloak and good luck exposing someone with spine chill easily with ghostface.
4 -
Myers is SLOW. He is 105% in Tier 1.
0 -
Piggy is slow while crouched, Wraith has to uncloak out of stealth while the survivor already is aware of his presence and ghostface is going to really struggle to expose someone with spine chill.
2 -
Ghostface is 115%
His stealth doesn't slow him down.
0 -
Piggy has a dash, Wraith can use his speed to catch up, GhostFace is rip.
0 -
I can still tell where piggy is going to dash to an extent thanks to spine chill and I’ve likely found a loop against Wraith with spine chill.

The reason Myers is different to killers like Ghostface, Pig, and Wraith is because you start out the match in Tier one, you have to work to get out of tier one, and you can never go back to tier one. The other three can go in and out of their stealth states at will, with few downsides, at least compared to Myers. It makes sense to give those 3 a counter, because theyll be stealthy for a good amount of the match. But to give that same counter to Myers makes the struggle to get out of T1 even harder. Its an unnecessary nerf.

You can stalk other people, the chances of spine chill becoming meta is pretty slim.
1 -
Nonetheless, Spine Chill is a great counter to stealth killers which is picking up in popularity. You wanted an explanation of why Myers is different to other stealth killers, I gave you one.

I'd rather use the approach of buffing Tier 1 in other ways such as giving him a normal lunge than re-adding spine chill/premonition immunity.
2 -
If they buffed him to compensate for this nerf, Id be happy.
0 -
I'll likely not notice a difference at all from spinechill, and just enjoy the extra slot when using scratched mirror. Ppl like to whine too much without even TRYING something. I'll gladly play this "nerfed" killer, lol
3 -
His crouch speed is 90%.
1 -
Who said GF had to crouch to use his power?
2 -
Most of them do for stealth approach.
1 -
But we're just talking about the ability to reduce your TR and become undetectable.
0 -
True. Which makes me wonder why he gets the privilege, of going full speed and being able to hide his tr at the same time.
0 -
Probably because survivors can pop him out of stealth in a second.
1 -
Which would be a fair point if it was remotely consistent.
0 -
I find it to be fairly consistent, if not a little survivor sided, since Ive been exposed when behind a wall.
0 -
I'm for buffing his movement speed a bit in Tier 1. I'd also be okay with making Scratched Mirror grant him his immunities to all detection tools again.
0 -
I'll stare straight at him and still not break him out. Though to be fair to your point I've also seen them be broken out for no apparent reason.
0 -
If night shroud slowed you down, GF would be legion/clown bad, lol
0 -
I'd prefer the opposite personally. scratched mirror already gives benefits in t1 for the fact he's stuck in it. If he gets the benefit of no detection and infinite aura reading in the smaller maps in the game (cause you know he'll be using the offering to do so), survivors have nothing besides "listen for his breathing" which while I haven't played against him enough yet but usually it's too late to evade a hit 3 seconds from generator (never gen grabbed against it at least)
0 -
The build is decent on Lerys, but your screwed if a survivor ALSO uses a map offering and puts you on Ormond or something, lol. As far as the counter goes, often times its just down to keeping an eye on the closest doorways while fixing a gen and be ready to run as soon as you see movement. Chasing anyone as T1 myers is pretty much impossible, so while you might get a hit...If they werent injured already, they'll get away at that point. They then need to find a spot where they can keep LOS to heal up before working on another gen.
0 -
When Amanda is crouching she's actually slower than nurse what's your point
0 -
...no.
0 -
To buff myers, you would need to give him not only a normal lunge, but also a slight movement speed, spine chill and premonition are deadly against tier 1 myers.
0 -
Myers is the weakest killer in the game if he stays in T1 (without add-ons of course). You can occasionally grab people off gen, but with this change, that's almost impossible
So..T1 Myers need to stalk with 105% to even tier up.. with this nerf, you will be wasting too much time to tier up just to become a M1 killer with smaller terror radius.
You know the early game the survivors is the strongest, right? So by the time you tier up, 2 or 3 gens are done because "you didn't apply enough pressure"
Edit: i'm talking about survivors that bring spine chill and premonition. I always see people bring spine chill here just to counter spirit

I personally don't bring map choices as survivor since I like the random, and as killer would rather have a points one or a mori when I'm about to prestige so I suppose you could spam offerings every match in anticipation you may face a mirror myers. And letting a survivor go to heal is part of his meta: 30 seconds to heal is more than enough time to get a good angle where they're either trapped or can't get to a safe point in time anyway
0 -
The maps that mirror myers generally gets played on has "safe" spots that survivors will generally bolt to as soon as they need to heal up. These locations are pretty much completely safe if you dont have PWYF on. As far as survivor map offerins goes... Ive had it happen to me several times where I'll get a different map offering when I try playing Mirror myers. Last time it happened, was stuck on Ormonds... Nothing you can really do there.
0 -
Amanda can choose when to crouch Myers has no such choice and relies on getting the drop on survivors to stalk to t2
1 -
Nah, Mirror Myers can probably get pretty screwed if Survivors can use one or two perks to call him out or if Myers doesn't get one of two (maybe three now with Hawkins?) very specific maps. He was never OP even in those maps because he kinda needed those benefits to make up being stuck in permanent slo-mo mode.

Myers breathing is actually really loud, I never got grabbed by a Myers thanks to it and I usually reach a pallet/LOS blocker before he's coming.
0 -
Ah, I see you are a man of culture
1 -
I get why they changed him, but for me personally I preferred Myers before.
I like when killers are unique from one another in regards to game play and status immunity. Keeps things spicy imo and keeps you on your toes as a survivor.

This!
Unlike the other sneakers, myers is stuck with his drawbacks until he sucessfully ambushes people.
He cant cancel it like the rest.
