Posts like these confuse me. Obviously no one wanted the devs to release the update in an unplayable state, but it’s fair to say that they made some mistakes and criticize them for it. As long as you are not attacking individuals personally or just being overly negative, then there is nothing wrong with a little bit of criticism.

I'd say we shouldn't be happy nor sad. I'm fairly certain BHVR isn't happy it got delayed.

The biggest positive I see is that the insta heal and Nurse nerf is delayed aswell so I can milk em out as long as it lasts.

That's not how it works. They announced archives and rifts in June. They have had since June to work on the update and get it ready for live. It would be different if it were some monumental feature that completely changes the core gameplay. But, it doesn't. It's essentially fancy achievements and a battlepass. They have had four months to work on achievements and a battle pass and failed to do so. They also failed to communicate this well enough to players and haven't stated what the bug actually was. For all we know they are just delaying the pc version again like they did with Spirit but won't actually tell us that. They need to communicate what is happening and what went wrong.

They told us exactly what the problem was
Crashing, Visual glitches, hags teleport not working and back end glitches like progress not saving.
Basically game breaking bugs.

not like they delayed stuff in the past and it was still bugged and broken

Yeah no we shouldn't be happy about it.
If QA was such a big thing, some bugs wouldn't exist in the game and you keep defending that while they have no problem to ask 1000? 1080? AC for a skin that isn't even working properly.
Nobody noticed that clowns knife doesn't even show up when you equip it? Right...

I don't ever doubt that the developers have the best of intentions. They don't want their game to be broken. They want us to have fun, and they want to be proud of what they are making. Their goal isn't to botch things or frustrate anyone. There is no malice on their part.
I've said this elsewhere, but I DO believe that it was a mistake to handcuff the Halloween event -- a time-sensitive, calendar-specific event that is meant to coordinate around the real-world celebration occurring on October 31 -- to the launch of a major new game system and a new Unreal Engine upgrade.
That's a lot of potential risk factors right there. The engine upgrade is a complete wildcard, because all they can do is hope it doesn't cause unforeseeable issues (and hope that they have enough time to be reactive, if it does). And the new Rifts/Archives system has been under construction for a long time now, but they couldn't get the issues ironed out between the 3.3.0 PTB and the target launch date. Just based on the forum silence and the botched communication timeline, I would suspect that the entirety of Behaviour is ON FIRE trying to get this all worked out. So, don't assume they're just sitting on their hands or whatever; there's undoubtedly enormous pressure in their office right now. Given the situation and the risk of failure, they really should have played it safe and repurposed last year's Hallowed Blight mechanics.
After this is all resolved and in the rear view mirror, I hope that Behaviour: a) allows themselves a bigger window between PTB and launch for major new systems, to give themselves a bigger buffer to react to unforeseen problems; and b) the community management team is given more autonomy and unilateral power when it comes to crafting and deploying public messaging for these kinds of issues.
