Had An "Amazing" Survivor Game Today

Grim Pantry was against a Legion who never used his power or did anything but camp every person he downed to full hook stage, not me or anyone else had Borrowed Time so we did the smart thing which was doing gens, first guy dies then as he's carrying Nancy to hook I distract him via body blocking and managed to have Nancy wiggle, 10 seconds later Nancy goes down and immediately dc's.

So is just me and the other survivor (We had to do 2 gens at this point), he gets downed then camped, so I just say screw it I'ma find hatch the Legion finds it and I get found due to the 2 exit gates being close to each other and course I go down (He had noed but really didn't matter I was dead at that point.)

Anyone else had a bad time like me? I usually don't get upset over bad or boring games but my goodness this was one of the worst I had in a while.

That game still sounds pretty fun.

I've had far, far worse. And in succession, too.

Also, a single. Bad game is bever enough to upset me. Usually it's a string of consecutive bad games that do.

When I was newbie killer, way back before EGC, I started a game at Mother’s Dwelling. Only 3 survivors were present at the start (back when this was still a thing). Another one DCs immediately.

I played normally with the remaining 2. Killed one eventually. The final survivor was a blue jacket, pink hair super Nea who, I now know, very obviously deranked to beat up on newbs.

Oh we ran. Ran and ran. The cabin loop. Over and over and over. Up and down. In and out. I didn’t know that “loops” were a thing at the time. I just thought she was running frantic and getting lucky. Eventually, I actually managed to down and hook her!

I thought we were having a respectful game of cat and mouse. I actually did “give props” (now I know that this does nothing) and reported the game as “5 dots fun”. This was mostly because she was in a bad situation from the start and took it like a champ.

Looking back, I’m kinda irked that I did that for a de-ranker. But oh well. she wasn’t toxic or anything as I recall, so it wasn’t actually a bad game, just memorable. Good practice though!

Well in Legion's defense he didn't use his power because to use your power you have to actually have one. But that's besides the point. If you have games where the killer camps do gens or bring gen camping perks it is totally possible to have a fun game.

At least you didn't have games like these:

This is what happens when everyone is overly altruistic at the start of the game.
