a Killer question.

So this has happened to me a few games now, I have a heart and play about 50/50

But what is up with survivors giving away teammates positions, Oh I just smacked a Steve, instead of luring me away and trying to run from chase he runs to a locker and starts pointing at it, so I hit him then check the locker, only to have the person inside said locker DC. Other times I punish the Snitch and let the person get away since I find it rude and really bad gameplay.

Thoughts?

Yeah it's a mean thing to do if unprovoked.

However, I've had teammates before who do absolutely NOTHING all game except crouch, hide and generally be useless. Basically throwing the game.

That might be the only time I think snitching on them is warranted. You want the dead weight off your team and them being hooked/downed might distract the killer from the rest of the team who are actually doing something.

omg this has happened to me quite few times! i have always been a good team mate and then i get somebody pointing to where i am. absolutley hate these snitches. they need to be punished for sure! sometimes cos of bbq chili i go into locker and somebody will go to my locker and just keep opening it, WHY?

I don’t even check the locker when this happens. I enjoy the easy down and free bloodpoints. If there was someone in the locker, I’m not too concerned about him rushing to rescue the snitch before the 2nd stage of sacrifice. (More likely, he'll crawl out and work a gen right under the snitch’s feet! Lol!)

I had a claudette do that thing where she pretends to take me off the hook until I died because I accidentally sandbagged her. I didn't know where the killer was at the time, and I'm admittedly not a good survivor. (It was a GF if you were wondering.)

It's not nice. Sometimes things happen and they don't mean to harm you.

But pointing at an occupied locker is just rude. If I see someone do that as killer I give them more leniency but punish the other one.

Because some people will happily and unprovokedly sell out a stranger if they think it will give them a chance of survival.

Not only is it scummy, it's also against the rules. Kill the sellout, and report them after the game.

The 200 IQ play is to point at an empty locker

Put on a antislug build point at an empty locker and attempt to bamboozle the killer XD

I had a game start vaulting through a window repeatedly and tank the entire game because i wouldn't let him heal me. He did nothing to help when i was slugged, then when he was healing me behind cover he kept running away when the killer would just look in our direction, he did it enough times that the killer actually noticed and downed me because i still wasn't healed.

I admit, there were moments when I pointed where a person was in a locker but we were SWF so we just messed up. With random people I don't do that cause I find it stupid.

This same thing happened to me, but it was a Jake. I didn't mean to sandbag, because I thought the killer was coming in the opposite direction in Hawkins Lab. We were in one of the corridors and I was trying to go one way and he was trying to come my way, so we were paused there while I was trying to figure out what was going on. The killer came up behind him and downed him.

I wasn't doing it on purpose, I'm just not that good. Then he came to me later when I was on the hook and kept pretending to unhook me. That kind of hurt my feelings, so I went afk after that.

It's basically a free kill for me.

Because if they're standing there pointing at a locker, I will just slap them again and put them on a hook. Ignoring where they were pointing at originally.

Well, if they're pointing instead of running from me, then it's up on the hook they go. I give the person in the locker plenty of opportunity to leave, as I carry the griefer to his rightful place.

Down the snitch, but pull the guy in the locker out before going to hook the snitch. Last thing you want is a head-on play.
