It shouldn't work like this
**this discussion is NOT about whether the Spirit needs a nerf to whatever. Keep that in its own discussion.**
I recently played a game against a Spirit, and it wasn't too awful. I had dead hard and DS, so it worked for me. But one thing I noticed is how exposing perks and hexes effect players when playing against the Spirit. As it is right now, her TR comes from her husk when she's phasing, but her physical body is in a different location. So I assume Unnerving Presence would affect the TR that the husk puts out, so if she leaves it next to a survivor, they will have the icon for UP until the husk disappears.
What I want to know is why do perks like MYC and Devour Hope apply to her physical body, and not the husk? She can be standing right next to a hook and begin phasewalk, walk away in phase to the appropriate distance from the hooked person, and that distance will count for those perks. So even if I save the person while her husk is still standing there, she gets a token to Devour Hope or I get exposed from MYC.
I think that those perks should only apply to the distance that her husk is from the hooked survivor. So either she needs to be quicker to leave, or she needs to physically walk away while not in phasewalk.
Also, aura reading perks such as OoO and Breakdown will show the aura of the husk, not her physical body. The only survivor perk that applies to her physical body is Spine Chill, and you cant even see her with that one.
TL;DR - the Spirit's husk should affect distance related perks, not her physical body while in phasewalk.

What they said. This is exactly why. Since it would promote camping Spirit who can get their stacks really fast and start killing people.

Let's not even get into Dark Devotion!
I don't think there's anything wrong with this. It's how the perks work.
A patrolling Spirit though is basically back at the hook in seconds after the unhook, lol. You're not getting away unless she's chasing someone and committed.

... the Husk shouldn’t process anything at all because it’s a husk, not a killer, so it shouldn’t have any perks. Devour Hope should only consider the distance between the hook and the “true” Spirit, as it is, but I absolutely agree the Husk’s TR shouldn’t process TR based perks.
