Every Killer with it's own chase music

I was very impressed when I heard the chase music from Myers while being hunted. So I aksed myself: why not for every Killer ?
Maybe the Huntress ( for example ) hums her lullaby more aggressively when hunting and the song bayu bayushki bayu plays in the background of it. What do you think of that ? If you have ideas, make sure to leave them here :)

That would be awesome. Honestly Trapper and Wraith can have any of the three or four default chase musics. One of the chase musics does sound similar to the Saw theme song, don’t know which one it is.

I’m for sure on board with every killer having their own unique chase music.

I've been pondering this very subject for a while now. My thoughts are as follows:

Trapper should have a metal theme, maybe using traps and heavy footsteps as inspiration for the percussion and bass.

Wraith's chase music should have moaning or "whoosing" noises getting increasingly louder. At certain distances a bell could ring too, like a dramatic church bell at very close proximity.

The Hillbilly would use strings and metal, just like deadwolfwalking suggested.

The nurse would need warped calm music with a heart monitor in the background getting louder and faster until it transfers into the death noise at the "on top of you" range.

Huntress would likely be a more aggressive lullaby like EntitysServant suggested. Maybe she'll actually starts singing the lullaby too instead of humming it?

Doctor would definitely have his laugh involved, getting louder as he gets closer, perhaps? Maybe some warped synthesizer music for the base?

The Pig, Nightmare, and Cannibal would use their own respective themes.

The clown would also use carnival music as Mr_Jay_Stark suggested.

No clue what Hag should get though.

Given her backstory, Hag should have tribal music of some sort, being away from civilization. Or very eerie swamp drums or chanting. Something like that would probably fit her.

Give Nurse something like The Dancer of the Boreal Valley song in Dark Souls 3.

Clown like a demonic version of Pop Goes the Weasel.

I love the ideas you have ! Now the devs need to be informed since we have examples for pretty much every killer. I think it will be hard for them to get more of the licensed music for the licensed characters. But I don't see a reason not to try it.

I prefer no music at all. For me the music makes it hard as surv to hear anything, does the good job of distracting and is annoying.

No music for either surv or killer would be my preference.

    Alright then
Spirit should have (obviously) Japanese music. But rather than it being soothing, it should be distorted.

As for Legion, they have mixtapes. While it would probably be hard to do, I think each one should have their own chase music, matching their individual mixtapes.
Julie - Dark and depressing music (my friend and I were discussing music genres during 1996, where the Legion is from and we can't find a genre that works)
Susie - Energizing, fast-paced music (We've narrowed that down to hip hop)
Joey - Actual description "A mix of bangin' tracks and slammin' beats for chillaxin' when life's a #########." (I have no clue why jazz is in my head, but I can't think of anything else honestly)
Frank - Music that stabs at your ear drums (Heavy metal, no questions)

Add shattered glass sounds to it and you're spot-on

I dunno, hearing a remixed version of Linkin Park's Crawling when being chased by Legion.. I'd just die of laughter on the spot. Seriously.

Huntress hums only when she is not in chase, so that wouldn't make much sense

I think (hear me out) I’ve been playing a lot of kingdom hearts so why not have the spirits chase music be a song sung by utada hikaru?

Mhm, i think buyingmusics in the shop ( or bloodweb, prestige) and simply equip them in a menu would be a slightly better alternative.

You know Huntress' humming is directional? If she looses chase she starts singing and mindgaming becomes almost impossible cause survivors know where she is all the time ;) it would be horrible for her if she was singing in a chase too ^_^
