I'm done with "Camped by Daylight"
You wait 15 minutes to get into a game and within 2 minutes you get some muppet tunnel you, hook you and camp you. Fed up of it! I used to play with a good selection of people on a regular basis but none of them bother with this game anymore as camping drove them away, it's an absolute joke!
The devs always go "Well it is a viable strategy" - Not when you've waited FIFTEEN MINUTES to find a f**king game only to come away with 2000 points because some moron thinks its fun to ruin it for you!!! No wonder disconnections are running rampant!
Hell I might even create a new profile and just face camp EVERYONE in the hopes that they too throw in the towel. Only then when the player base drops off and they stop milking people for cosmetics the devs might actually do something about it!

What do you expect them to do? I don't like camping either. But realistically there's nothing they can do about it.

Most cases people call for camping is not actually camping

They can discourage camping even more. Campers don't really care about emblem points or bloodpoints and they only get punished if survivors are running anti camping perks.

Camping is nasty in this game, but not much to be done about it except learn to avoid the killer and learn to loop him well or juke him if he does find you.
But it's crazy that it takes you 15 minutes to find a game as Survivor. You playing on PS4 or something?

Often it's that time for me for survivor, but instant as killer here on PC in Australia.

I am on PS4 and get into lobbies pretty quick, usually less than a minute.
Camping sucks, but it tends to get better once you get into higher ranks. Seems like the noobs don't know what else to do, or they don't have perks to tell them where to go....

My experience is the opposite; baby killers hardcamp, middle rank killers don't; red rank killers tend to.

Good to know. I don't think I ever made it to the red ranks as a survivor. I play more as killer, and i don't play enough in a month (either side) to get there.

At the same time teach new players that they'll do better without camping

The same people who tell people to shut up and stop whining about being camped or tunneled are the same people who will turn around and complain about generators popping left or right and it ruining their fun.
Honestly. NEITHER is fun, but I will say here's the huge difference. The answers that survivors have to tunneling and caming? Nowhere as numerous as the amount of ''Shut those things down" killers have for generators now.
A good Pig can stall a game with her RBTs, a Freddy with a forever build. Just the perks Ruin, Pop, Discordance, Survelliance, Corrupt, even to a degree Thrilling Tremors can tell you where to go to pressure your generators.
Survivors have maybe two good perks that counter tunneling and hard camping and a smart killer is just gonna slug you with decisive anyways these days.

I can understand the frustration of being camped, but only if it's being face camped. Though, what I can't understand is why you would want to do so to someone else? You don't gain anything from it and you're only taking your anger out on someone else.
Whenever I get stressed or a bit miffed in DbD, I get up, stretch or work out a bit, drink some water, and do some breathing exercises. Helps keep my head clear and calm and makes me more ready to hop back in. Plus, it feels nice to get a workout done while waiting for a match if it's taking a while!
