Hey bhvr before implementing dc penalties
Think you could fix crashing first? I've had multiple games where Im automatically disconnected I lose all the points i made that match, items, addons, and a pip I don't need to also be locked out of matches for 5 mins

That's why we only tested DC penalties before putting it live permanently. They won't go live until the game is in a more stable state and that these things won't happen.

When will that be, and what is meant by a more stable state? I think DCs are a huge problem that has been recognized for a long time but is never deeply discussed nor addressed.

Clearly dedicated servers have no indication of DC being intentional or not.
Sure their could improvements made, but their will always be a way for those who DC to do so without being punished. Making it appear as an unintentional DC, pulling the cord ect.
At least make a game crash nonpunishable . . but then players who insist will find ways to crash their game on purpose.
