What is with the Killers since Dedicated came out?
I usually play killers; but have been playing a lot of Surv to play with some of my friends; but it seems like ever since dedicated servers came out the amount of killers that: A) Play extremely sweaty (like, you can gain more bloodpoints by toying with survivors usually); B) Extreme focus one survivor at a time and chase them endlessly until they are downed; and C) Strike survivors that are freed from hooks and rehook them (which I thought most survs called 'tunneling' or something like that??) -- the amount of killers that just play really sweaty and sometimes downright toxic (tons of face-campers; but that is a legit strategy even if it is annoying to survs) seems to have quadrupled with the dedicated servers.
What's up with that??

It's possible that it's not to do with the dedicated servers, but rather the Ruin changes. A lot of killers have been changing the way they play lately in order to prepare themselves for not being able to slow down games with Ruin anymore. Many killers feel that they won't be able to win games from now on without playing really sweaty, so they've been practicing trying to win without Ruin in preparation for that.

Which platform are you on? It's hard to give input without knowing when the dedicated server release you're referring to was.

That actually makes a lot of sense. Kind of a shame because hell, I have far more fun in the matches hitting, downing, hooking and letting them unhook and just building up a good pool of bloodpoints without the need ot complete sacs lol

Yeah. I personally feel that the changes weren't particularly healthy overall, mainly because I think that longer games are, in general, a good thing. But maybe people will be able to adapt and find ways to still have fun under the new system. Here's hoping 🤷

Personally I enjoy a good long chase as well, one with a good Survivor that knows most if not all the tricks.
It's a good challenge, so I enjoy the chase a lot, especially if the entire team is also good. Of course if the Survivor isn't really... the best I guess, than I don't go ALL IN to down them, if I need to I will but for the most part I don't because it isn't enjoyable to destroy players that're worse than others, it can be kind of discouraging for them to keep playing as well.
Some Killers just want the Kill though I suppose, it's how they play so It's just how they'll act.
