Looks like Doctor is OP now
I just played a game on swamp as Doctor. My build is Ruin, Sloppy Butcher, Nurses Calling and BBQ. And i was using the addons that decrease the terror radius. I was playing extremely fair. I didn't camp and i didn't tunnel (All 4 of them had DS and i didn't get hit by one of them). It was a perfect game because i reached 32k bloodpoints and 4 iridescent emblems.
After the match someone texted me this:
I guess we can expect Doctor to get nerfed soon. RIP

Don't you know that survivors think that only 4 meta perks exist (we all know which) alltogether and all other are unsuable until buffed to old MoM level.

Or they are working on both equally? Killers getting annoyed by flashlights is just as bad for business as DS not working.

i'm assuming the survivor loses madness tier(s) when they are hooked no?
so in order to trigger this "bug", Doc would have to take the time to shock the survivor multiple times in a chase and still down them

Lmao, "no counter "? I've been playing Doctor for a couple of hours and survivors have already learned to dodge his shocks during chases. 🙄Another typical lazy survivor that doesn't want to learn how to counter killers.

There is a history of survivor bugs being more important because they affect most of the playerbase. Not that killer bugs aren't fixed at all it just takes a bit longer "sometimes"

I noticed that too. I guess they have to get used to the new shock timing first.
I rarely use his normal shock therapy anyway. I only use static blast to find people and apply sloppy butcher so everyone is healing. He is great for keeping survivors busy.

Drop pallet when you get zapped, you get 1s before it locks you out. Stay around longer loops. If you still struggle calm spirit is an option.

Drop pallets early and move to the side to dodge his shocks. Also going into lockers protects you from his static blasts and shocks, making it easier to hide from him.

Doc is op now and has a few bugs as well. I’m excited to see what they do to nerf him soon. After hillbilly of course.

Personally the doctor has more of a counterplay now that he has no passive madness increase. Before, if you didn't want to have madness tier I you should run to a locker as soon as you heard his terror radius, now if he used his static blast he will need to wait until the cooldown ends, so you're "safe" for 60 seconds.

There’s no reason why when I am crouched in hiding, that this killer uses a shock blast that gives away my position. How do you even counter that? BS man. I feel like I got hustled out of my money paying for a game where it’s unbalanced and I can’t do what I wanna do. I don’t want to play and die every game because killers kill off survivors with ease because they’re invisible or light up the whole map with static. That’s so boring. Please fix.

Regardless of killers saying “get good” or whatever else, that’s not the point. If im stagnant crouching somewhere, YOU SHOULD NEVER know where I am unless you check behind that wall over there, or on the other side of that pile of tires. Otherwise what’s the point? That’s nonsense.

Has nothing to do with dodging shocks, or being lazy survivors. How about don’t be a lazy killer and walk over there and see if he’s on the other side of that wall. Don’t just stand in one spot and 360 and light up the whole map with electricity .one should always be able to remain in hiding penalty free unless stumbled upon or by seeing and chasing. Why am I penalized for hiding? Stupid.

Not everyone has calm spirit. Not everything in the game needs to be so game changing if you don’t have ONE perk equipped.

I have to say the doctor is very overused right now and is very strong. Personally with his new play style there is no real drawbacks to him. He can both shock and smack players now without needing to switch modes. I still think there is a way to beat every killer but you just have to focus as the survivors. When someone gets hooked not everyone needs to fight to save that player and maybe focus on gens while 1 person focuses on the save. If the save is not possible and you have a camper then let him camp and waste his time and go do a gen in the mean time. Do not run up pull the poor player off the hook and then wonder why you both get knocked down. I do think the doctor needs some small tweaks and is way to overplayed and honestly out of the 13 to 15 times I played today I seen the doctor at least 10 times and the rest was legion. I stopped playing for the day because I got bored of Doctor killers. lol

You do know why the game has hook campers. Because there’s no real pressure on the killers to continue searching once they’ve found their first victim. I’ve seen survivors pull all kinds of dumb moves making rescue attempts on hooked survivors then they get re hooked and killed off when the killers standing right there. I think more pressure on killers to keep people off gens is a big deal. Bring it down to 4 gens or maybe give survivors a NICE repair speed boost while killer is near a hooked survivor.

killers need to be slowed down too. It’s kinda ridiculous that they can keep up with survivors. F13, Jason’s really slow. Even if survivors can just be a tad bit faster (especially since they can’t really defend themselves other than DS - which requires you to get caught first 🤦🏽 Smh, And pallets which don’t really do much good. Although pallet looping is nice I really don’t think killers should be as fast as survivors since they have the ability to catch you off guard and have a pretty easy time cutting you off on chases.

You're asking for the entire game to be changed. The whole point of the game is that killers are faster and as the survivor you have to strategically out maneuver them via looping and pallets. If they were the same speed then no one would ever get caught. The only way a killer could catch a survivor off guard is if they got rid of the terror radius and perks such as spine chill.
Do you want a game where you just run around faster than the killer, don't get caught, and win every game? This game is challenging for both killers and survivors, it wouldn't be fun if it was a win every time.
There would literally be no point in playing if the devs were to take your suggestions into consideration.
