Potential DS Rework?
Yes, i am going there again. In the QnA they mention how DS could be a real "Anti-Tunnel" perk (Thanks to Louis McLean for bringing it up) can be implemented which i think should happen, they said they are looking into it from what i remember. I know people are going to say that "Its already been nerfed hard" when really, it was balanced, not nerfed. If they really want to make it an anti tunnel perk, have become disabled once another survivor is hooked, rather than having 60 second do whatever i want status. Yes i know they can be slugged, but thats not a hook which technically is still an immunity. Only time will tell what they will do with DS, but i hope they go through with this idea.

That would make DS never activate. Why? Slugging exists and is now apparently a prevalent strategy. Like I always say, my idea is probably healthier for both sides.

Just because it doesnt activate doesnt mean it didnt serve its purpose. You still didnt get hooked and another survivor can pick you up, or just bring unbreakable.

No I mean slugging as in slugging the unhooker (which tunnelers can do) then going back to the unhooked and downing them. Hook the unhooker and you're free to tunnel :)

Easy fix then- make it stay active if the unhooked is slugged, but deactivate when they are injured or even healthy.

Sounds great

That is an easy fix. i like it

I just wish it would deactivate when a survivor unhooked a teammate, healed a teammate, or worked on a gen. I understand why survivors run it. Especially since the ruin nerf.

You'd like my idea ;)

I agree that DS rework wasn't a nerf, it is actually way more useful now. The killer is damned if they tunnel me and damned later in the game if they didn't tunnel me the first time. The killer should be discouraged from tunnelling but they will have that discouragement hanging over them the whole game if everyone has DS and the killer has played by the perks rules.

Cool. So now DS will be completely useless. Say I see someone heading for the hook, hit them, they get the save, I down them, go after the unhooked. Go put the unhooker on the hook, the unhooked DS is now dead. I hook them. So like, 25 seconds?

I think it should disable when healed to full

Ahh, so when someone's with "we''ll make it" rescues the survivor, and heals them in 7 seconds... Yeah sure

Uh... Yea.... , technically they aren't tunneled if the killer isn't there to down them, plus how many times does a survivor actually bring we'll make it.

More often than you think

I think it would be quite nice if they either reduced the active time or changed it so that it deactivates after hooking another Survivor. To prevent abusing they could make it so that if it has been activated and you are downed the timer is not going down. So it would really be an anti tunnel perk.

We'll make it is the don of healing perks.
You also confuse camping with tunneling.

I already squashed that idea

You wanna counter DS?stop hooking and use knock out.Let them slugg for the entire game.Hook only if the person uses no mither.
You wanna nerf it?Make it a exhaustion perk.

If DS deactivates for the rest of the game after use and is an exhaustion perk , I think no one would ever pick it anymore. It just too weak this way.
If they change DS to an exhaustion perk that can be activated more than one time, this perk would become way too strong.
