Cruel Limits | Huge Buff
Prologue
As we all know, Cruel Limits is one of the most useless perk on the killer perk pool. It barely gets any use on open maps and indoor maps doesn't make it that much better. Therefore, I'm going to suggest multiple versions to make it better while not making it meta. 😁
Cruel Limits: Version I
After a generator is completed, the Entity will form a wall that only the killer can pass through within 32 meters around the completed generator for 20/25/30 seconds.
When the last generator is completed, both Exit Gates switches will be blocked by the Entity for 40/50/60 seconds.
Auras of blocked Exit Gates switches are shown in white.
Cruel Limits: Version II
After a generator is completed, all vaults within 32/40/48 meters will be blocked by the Entity until the next generator is completed.
Once the last generator is completed, all pallets within 24 meters to the Exit Gates, dropped or not, will be destroyed by the Entity.
Auras of blocked vaults are shown in white.
Cruel Limits: Version III
After a generator is completed, all survivors within 16 meters of that generator will be affected by Cruel Limits for 80/100/120 seconds.
Survivors affected by Cruel Limits will cause windows they vault become blocked by the Entity for 30 seconds.
Auras of blocked vaults are are shown in yellow.
Epilogue
Feedback is always appreciated, don't be afraid to start a discussion with me if you don't like any one of my ideas for making Cruel Limits better! 😁

First sugestiom feels to strong and second borning. Third is really good but needs reduced time, to like 10/15 seconds of blocked window.

I like approach 2 the best.
And for those who say it's too strong, it's a perk that activates, maximum, five times, and you have to be near a specific place on the map (the activated generator) for it to help you, IMHO, it should be reasonably strong.

I might've over shot a few of the perks, but I'm a huge fan of the first version.
I liked the idea of having a physical barrier surrounding a survivor because it makes completing a generator in the killer's face become a death sentence.
Perhaps, the first version can be changed to this for counterplay?

I’m not sure if I like the first or second version best.
The second makes an entire area unsafe because of the lack of windows. It also only activates five times at max and in a certain area. Strong, but not OP.
The first version sounds really cool, but I’m not sure Survivors would like being trapped in an area for 30 seconds with nothing to do, especially if the Killer doesn’t come for them. However, being able to go to a gen and know that a Survivor is still there is really good and I like it a lot. Question: If there are two gens within Cruel Limits, could you have two walls blocking off the same Survivor?
Also I hope the name gets changed back to Cruel Confinement. That name sounds a million times better.

My ideas:
Version1: When a generator is completed, block ALL windows for 20/25/30 seconds. Blocked windows are highlighted. (if too strong, it could block X closest windows, x meaning like half of all the windows in the map or so)
Version2: When a generator is completed, perk activates for 40/50/60 seconds. While the perk is active, every time survivior vaults a window, that window is blocked until the perk deactivates. Blocked vaults are highlighted 3 (or 5) seconds after being blocked.
Version3: When a generator is completed, all Windows, Lockers and Pallets in a 24 (or 36) meter radius are blocked for 20/25/30 (or more) seconds. Blocked things are highlighted.
Version4: When a generator is completed, barrier is created in a 24/22/20m radius around that generator for 15 seconds. Surviviors cannot pass through this barrier. (OR: Surviviors that will pass through the barrier will scream, be injured and will suffer from exhausted effect for 20 seconds)
