Raise the 4% chance to 24% this week
I know that the subject is unrelated to the forum's intention but there's a reason we call unhooking ourselves "Kobe'ing". There is no better term for hitting a shot with only 4% chance of success.
Given the tragic death of Kobe Bryant, I think it would be cool of Behaviour to raise all self unhooking chances to 24% this week to honor him. Let's all have a better shot to "Kobe" this week.

No. I get why you're suggesting this, but it would be terrible in-game, unless you want to give Killers a similar buff. A Kobe-themed cosmetic would probably end up being a better idea.

The sentiment is nice, but gameplay would be horrible. 24% each time, 3 attempts each. Combine it with Slippery Meat and Up the Ante and you would basically have Deliverance without the Broken drawback.

What about a 24% of decreased walking speed of survivors, with a 24% chance of insta kill, combined with a 24% reduced gen speed? Then I agree to 24% of unhook success rate.

That wouldn’t be great..at all. I’ll respect the kobe but having an increased chance isn’t good. I’d say a cosmetics too but if it only goes to one person then others won’t find it fair only one gets it. Giving a jersey to everyone wouldn’t make sense either. Plus meg would probably get it cause you know..meg is meg. Maybe a basketball charm would be good?

I would prefer let it be 30% success rate. But you only have 1 chances. If fail you died instantly without struggling.

If you want to honour him you could play with a kobe build (Deliverance, or Slippery Meat + luck), but increasing the chases would suck for everyone: killers would lose any pressure value a hooked survivor normally has, and survivors would see a rise in camping as a consequence.

what, the reason why i said Adam is because he shares physical traits to Kobe (not just cause hes black...) and, he hasnt gotten literally any cosmetics since his release.

I'm not gonna be a douchebag like everyone else here, but I think it'd be better to give cosmetics to one killer and one survivor. A new Legion cosmetic and a new Adam or even Meg cosmetic would be the better choice.

OP is just trying to throw out a nice idea. You're honestly too much of a snowflake for the net if you think it's insulting or whatever, what OP is saying. That or you just don't have anything better to do than be cynical about random people. He just wants a little "commemoration" thing. He's OBVIOUSLY not trying to celebrate the fact that Kobe passed.

And you don't have to take it seriously. Or even respond. My point is it's pretty sad that you have to take the time to respond to something like this in this manner. Whether you think something is redundant, dumb, or whatever your little closed mind can think of, is irrelevant. Believe it or not, you're not the center of the universe so your thoughts have no influence on what his intentions actually are.

It's just hilarious how you have to be such a sourpuss with the whole "some people should not be allowed to make decisions in this world" thing. Especially after saying such a stupid backwards thing like "celebrating" after his death. People have events when people die all the time to commemorate them. That doesn't mean they're "celebrating" their death. And if you don't think that they're celebrating HIS DEATH SPECIFICALLY, then what's even the problem? Let people remember somebody they knew in a way that comforts them. You don't have to be a damper on them.

If you want to justify this idea, why not 8% instead of 24% i would have let it slide, to request 24% and using his death as a plea is shallow and so are you for backing it up, that's all i have to say about the matter. You have a right to your opinion and so do i, don't mind me for saying my piece. Think about the issue here for a second and try to see why i would react that way with the current state of the game
