Remove 4 man SWF
That's all. I'm so, so tired.

So you want to be alone in the game? Most players only play because of their friends. So don't ask behavior to shoot yourself in the foot. I also think they should balance SWF, but removing is not the way.
3 -
True. I prefer playing killer, and sometimes play solo survivor, but I usually play survivor with other people, it's more fun than by myself. If I want to play by myself I'll kill, or play something else entirely.
2 -
I didn't say remove it completely, just remove the ability to 4 man. 2 man swf is enough, really.
3 -
add 4man swf to "ranked" matchmaking with leaderboard for killers and party rating for survs, with prizes it will be nice and some reason to play on killers vs swf
2 -
I want to play with more than one friend.
4 -
Easy fix.
Casual: SWF allowed. 1x BP boost.
Competitive: SWF not allowed 1.5x BP boost.
6 -
This is easy and genius
1 -
The play some other game? I dunno, being able to 4 man on comms and strategically plan your game while the killer is alone and have to try and stay sane while dealing with all of you is so tiring.
4 -
No, we’re gonna play dbd.
5 -
If you nerf SWF to only a 2 man group it's not going to fix the issue. 4 man friends can still just try to snipe each other to get the same lobbies. Sure with current queue times sniping isn't ideal unless you are very determined but those queue times aren't going to stay that long forever. Do you know why they added SWF in the first place? It was to stop survivors from dodging lobbies so they can match with their friends. You can't nerf SWF, its just impossible, and if they do magically nerf SWF and prevent sniping each other. That could cause the player base to decrease by a lot because people want to play with their friends, they shouldn't be punished for wanting to play with their friends and behavior doesn't want to ruin the fun of friends wanting to play together because they want people to play their game, not someone else's.
2 -
Keep WF but make it so its matches where the survivors and killers are friends.
No SWF 'squads' in public games.
0 -
They already have that, it's called kill your friends (or custom games, whatever they renamed it to)
2 -
There are ways to deal with SWF,but with the hag its a real challenge to deal with them.
As a survivor i can bully hag players all day,and i am solo queue.
0 -
They're not going to remove 4-man single white females.
1 -
Laughed harder than I should have :p
1 -
gosh ur so right, having teams when playing competitive is totally unfair. We should let other comp games, like LoL, know that they need to remove the team feature from their games and make everyone queue solo for ranked matches
0 -
Yes, it would be nice, but I think it’s enough to introduce strict limits for the number of perks, items, etc.
0 -
Just show killer who is and who is not in swf. Small bps increase for playing against so people don't dodge constantly.
This way killers can take actually good perks/addons and mori against sweaty 4man groups and not bully randos with those.
0 -
For every other member of your swf group, you lose a perk slot for that match. 4 man swf, one perk apiece.
2 -
How about no? Plenty of survivor groups are potatoes, punishing them would be ridiculous.. And the good survive groups would still do well solo, it would just punish them unfairly for wanting to play with friends
2 -
This is single handedly the most American post I've seen and I love it.
Swf on matey
2 -
I made a post of giving bbq effect to that swf group only but no one seemed to care for it.
At the very least bonus xp for the troubles

Killers dodge either way though, the xbox community of dbd is so small, there are some known toxic red ranks out there that killers hate, so even if that survivor shows up in their lobby they’ll dodge. They need to penalize killers for lobby dodging. We shouldn’t have to wait 15+ minutes to get into a survivor match.
0 -
Of course. Penalize the killer for the action of those toxic red ranks you mentionned. People know these people are toxic and that they're the reason why killers dodge their lobbies, but hey, penalize the killer for not wanting to deal with that #########!

The most distressing thing about SWF, imo, is how it just throws in the garbage any stealth gameplay.
The other day, i was doing the grab challenge with Myers Tier 1. But everytime i was about to get to someone, the surv knew i was coming... but what the heck! Its tier 1 Myers, no perk detects him! But a survivor far away saw me going into the house...
SWF is the supreme perk.
The thing is the same with Pig. I cant stop a chase to go to a gen that discordance poped up. The time i turn to the new target, the survivors just get away. And in the post game screen there was no killer detection perks...
I mean, SWF Voice Comms are waaay frustating. When I play SWF, thats rarely, i dont use voice parties. Because its not fair with the killer, and cause part of games excitement is reading the match rythm.
I think SWF is a problem that cant be adressed. Killers tatics will be frustated match after match. And ppl like to play with friends. Some cant stand a solo match, find it "too boring", but maybe they just miss the "extra OP SWF Voice Comm perk".
There are so many issues about SWF Voice Comm... its so unfair... but it will remain in the game forever and ever...

Bruh just let people enjoy a game with their friends man. Holy #########, I don't understand why people are so against others enjoying games with friends.
0 -
But but, people can't have fuuun!!
I remember a game where I lost badly as killer, but still got good chases and had fun in general, so in the end chat I said the usual "good game" because, you know, I thought it was, even if I didn't get any kills, and the survivors were all surprised.. "I had fun, you guys weren't being toxic, so yeah it was a good game"
1 -
I'm kinda the same way. If I lose, I'll take the loss and go. I won't sit and dwell on that one loss because I win a good majority of my games. It seems like a large portion of the people around here just can't take a loss once and awhile.

Exactly. Same when I play survivor, unless I get tunneled and killed right off, I usually enjoy myself even if I don't win. Most fun survivor game I had lately was doing that No Mither challenge solo, against a nurse, teamed up with two potatoes who died super early in the game and a David who managed to escape as well.. It was so stressful, we were both working all over the map, sometimes together, sometimes split up, so one would do progress while the other got chased. It's one of those games I'd have had fun being the Nurse we played against, playing cat and mouse. Almost got caught so many times too, Iron Will really makes No Mither work better, first try I didn't take it and god is Kate loud when she's wounded! (well then again, all survivors are)
Had another game with a friend a few days ago, she kept bodyblocking me by accident, I think I got hit two or three times because she blocked me at a pallet or window vault haha so I was laughing over discord while she was apologizing over it ;p
1 -
I agree. I don't think you need to win in this game to have fun like many people think you do. Also, sounds like you have a lot of strange games lol.

Check Steam profile. If they're all friends, dodge. If all their profiles are private, dodge to be safe. You have the tools to be selective as killer, you can use them if you care about it
1 -
Haha oh I did!
Had another one lately where I was playing Pig, going around the map looking for them.. took me 3 full laps before checking the basement.. they were all there, each next to a hook, just pointing at walls.. so we farmed a bit, and then I put them all down next to the hooks and sacrificed them all :p
I should have checked the first screenshot to position them back to their starting hook but oh well!
Also had another one where they were 4 basement Neas, and just kept running back to the basement.. best part was when I had 3 hooked down there and just went away, because ######### camping and it was so silly, and the last one unhooked them all and when I came back to the shack, they all vaulted out the window one after another in my face hahaha
Silly games like that are so fun and definitely make up for the bad ones ;)

SWF isn't the issue, Voice Comms are. The game experience itself would be so much more terrifying and have a horror like feel if we only had the sounds and visual cues that the game itself already provides. I still believe its what behaviour originally intended for this game but "party chats" completey ruined what they had original intended. No immersion factor. I wish there were "No Comm" lobbies so I could play the game the way it was meant to be.

You guys really want to play lobby simulator don't you?
0 -
Only if lobby simulator also includes the DLC m1 simulator!
0 -
We want bloodpoints and it isn’t much fun without five people in kyf.
3 -
It isn’t “screwing the killer player”, I play against swf and still have fun.
3 -
At least give killer bonus blood for playing against sweaty try hard 4 mans.
1 -
What about when they're potato 4 mans who just got the game and want to have fun? Should the killer also get a bonus for having an easy game against those? Because from experience, a lot of the survive groups aren't all that good or coordinated. Some, yes. The majority, no.

The killer getting extra blood does not effect survivors so its a moot point.

Don't nerf SWF, but buff solo players and adjust the game to reflect this. Give solo players advantages in their base kit, which groups have through comms. E. g. Kindred or indication every minute or so where the others are (not what they are doing exactly, just rough position).
As soon as you are in a group of 2-4 those benefits are gone.
0 -
No.
I play a lot of solo and wouldn't want to have advantages when playing by myself that I wouldn't have playing with others. The base game needs to be the same for everyone. I like the update they gave Kindred, it really does wonders for both solo players and team players. They need to do more changes like that, that'll affect the quality of the game for everyone, not just boost up a certain group. Not every survive group uses voice chat. I was with a 4 man group yesterday, one didn't have discord, and the other two were talking in italian a lot (but also some english), so the guy without discord and I had no idea what the other two were saying (he, because he couldn't hear, me because I don't know italian) so you're saying we would have been better off playing by ourselves than with others, to get boosts that would have had more benefits than just having fun with people we know?
1 -
I only say that it is the wrong way to give SWF any disadvantage. But providing solo players at least with some benefits, which SWFs have is a much better approach. It doesn't need to be exactly kindred, that was just an example.
Groups that don't say "I could use a heal, I am at this spot" are pretty rare. There are hardly any teams grouping up that don't communicate.
0 -
Sad to tell you this, but there are many perks that allow you to find others.
I run Bond and Better Together on survivor lately, both solo and with others. That way, if I need heals, I can find others easily, or they can find me working on generators if they want heals. Or I can see if they're being chased not too far from me, without requiring them to let tell me, and they know where I am so they know not to bring the killer my way unless they really have to, and if they do, I'll see them coming and can go hide before they reach me.
Other perks are we're gonna live forever, because bloodpoints on the survivor side sucks so it's good to have a little bit of extra, and prove thyself, because with bond and better together, I do coop actions more, so why not.. but I was tempted to bring Kindred as well, for extra aura reading and knowledge. Might switch it out for a few games to see how it goes, and try to pay attention to my altruism and objective scores, see if prove thyself is necessary for points or just the speed boost it gives, or if I can just do without.
But yeah anyway. Wanting to give basekits an upgrade because people won't use the perks that do just what people are wanting is a bit too much, honestly. (on both sides, not just survivor, I see suggestions to make stuff like noed basekit on killer....)
But that's just my opinion. I feel like solo players are in a nice spot right now. Yes they need more love, but giving them advantages over groups just because most groups use voice chat is ridiculous.
What I would be for though is if they revisited perks, like they did with Kindred, to make them more useful in general, for solo players, but also for groups. And making sure that any new perks that get released with future Chapters take these two types of players in consideration.

In the words of many entitled killers: Your fun doesn't matter.
0 -
Next whining step is "please remove survivors from the game" no ?
0 -
It would be on par with m1 simulator fans who don't want killers in their games.
