Quiet downed survivors. Intentional or is it a bug?

So since the recent patch I've been having issues finding slugged survivors, as downed survivors seem a lot more quieter then they were before. I've even lost Claudette's from the moment I downed them due to them getting downed in long grass, and I can't find them due to them not being able to hear them.

Before this update I haven't had an issue with tracking slugged survivors, as I could find them due to their sound. So my question was reducing the sound of slugged survivors, was the change intentional or is it a bug?

The extra time I'm spending trying to find a downed survivor is time that I don't have as a killer. Especially now that if you make a single mistake as killer can cost you the game.

Bug. They don't make any noise sometimes, not always tho, happens randomly. It has been in the game since the 3.4.2 patch if i'm not wrong

It might not be a bug, but an intentional change, which wasn't documented or communicated. It is meant to help survivors by making it harder for them to find. A killer could use the perk 'Deerstalker' to find them easier.

Its a bug but with how devs seem to be handling it i wouldnt be surprised if they call it a feature. Like hook tech.

It’s one of the billion sound bugs that this game has. We most likely won’t see it fixed until 2035.

with how consistent sounds get ######### after every chapter it feels on purpose, footsteps don't exist anymore either in chase cause the chase music is too loud too.

Deafening music and elephant killer footsteps combined with ninja survivors who don't even breath when downed have pushed me to only slugging in absolute emergencies. BHVR doesn't want their precious little survivors getting mad from slugging now do they?
