They are about to get rid of the emblem system and do away with rank entirely as a player-visible concept. (See "Matchmaking changes" post in News subforum which is not just about matchmaking but discusses hiding rank)
They are not going to be changing pips or hotfixing the pip system. It would be energy wasted on a meaningless legacy system they have admitted is irrevocably flawed

When a Killer dcs survivors get the full escape points.
If a survivor dcs the killer should get the points for a full three hook sacrifice to be fair.

There’s needs to be an Abandon ban timer like rainbow has, 30 minute ban if you DC and if you keep doing it you should get a maximum of a day ban, this will encourage people to just kill themselves on hook only hurting themselves and not the killer

Oh man the survivor complaints have already come, had two people in here arguing over that survivors should get more points for a DC -_-. Like as if they can't just make up the points elsewhere, unlike Killer survivors don't have any emblems that rely on having having 3 teammates. Benevolent can get points just fine off 2 other survivors, and you get Benevolent for escaping killers grasp, powering the exit gates, and doing actions in the basement. While it also starts with a flat bronze regardless, so if the rest of your team dc's you're guaranteed a black pip regardless.

Survivors already have enough as it is they do not need any more then what they have going for them killer mains are dropping by the day And this would only solidify a huge drop in numbers
