The "camping" issue

All we know that when the killer is camping the camped survivor will die, especially if is a killer with one-shot mechanic. Actually the only counter to this is do the generators as fast as possible,  but how to get rid of camping? The solution is from a perspective of a killer main, so don't be salty and go to read something else if you're a boosted Dwight who plays SWF with purple flashlight, OK? First of all, I think that all non-blinking or non-insane chainsaw running killers should get Thanatophobia, Hex: Ruin, Brutal Strength and Enduring as their default base-kit abilities, so you are not longer forced to waste 4 perk slots for this perks on weak killers like the Wraith, Myers, Leatherface or Freddy. Weak killers like those camp becouse of not strong answer to looping and gen rushing, it's rarely to see a Nurse or an Hillbilly that hard camp becouse their insane speed allow to patrol the generators faster. Even if kept busy with looping a good Hillbilly will never allow survivors to gen rush him.  But we want to play also someone else, is boring to see only Hillbillys or Nursed at Rank 1, becouse if you play someone else, you will literally find yourself in most scenarios where you get punished by good survivors for leaving the hooks, especially when the gates are opened or left 1 or 2 generators in opposite sides of the map . So what we are supposed to do without even a slighty buff to weakest killers if not camping with them in these scenarios?

The wraith isn't weak.... And Myers is overpowered. Leather face has his one-shot chainsaw.

    You are joking right?

Just make killers stronger such that they can do well withotu camping. Once looping for minutes isnt a thing anymore, most killers will prefer chasing over camping. Thats the reason why nurses usually dont camp (unless they just started playing and are inexperienced).

However, next patch we will have multiple changes that will make looping easier and last longer, so you will see an increase of camping too.

And a "slight" buff wont be sufficient btw.

What do you want the survivors to do besides looping? just stand there?

@CornChip found the survivor main. he didnt even say that he wanted them to stop. it shouldnt be so easy to loop and it shouldnt take more than 2 mins to catch one person. i dont blame survs for looping just like i dont blame killers for camping. they are doing their objective surviving or killing.

You realize there are other means of evading a killer besides looping right? Try stealth, juking, using perks besides the meta loop perks. I'd like to see survivors break line of sight and hide instead of t bagging at a pallet. Maybe try teamwork. Looping isn't skill, it's just delaying the inevitable because they are too unskilled to actually lose a killer.

i understand you’d like to see that how often does a killer actually lose a GOOD STEALTHY survivor. The devs have practically taken stealth away. Sometimes you just have to loop

you're conflating two ideas but I get the gist of what you are saying. Youre right that as the game evolves, the power the survivors have gives them a bolder play style that has warped DbD from hide and seek to tag. That doesn't mean stealth isn't possible, nor is escaping a chase. What is happening though is instead of sometimes you have to loop, it becomes the default tactic.

Camping isn’t an “issue”. You don’t need to fix camping. Camping is simply a symptom of the real issue which is game imbalance. If the game ever gets properly balanced, camping would go down tremendously. Camping is just what happens when the killers have no power and they have no options left.

Isn't looping technically the survivor running a path just in a circle, the distance is still the same anyways and you could just run in a straight line to a pallet in theory..

No, the collision box on survivors is smaller so by hugging the wall in a loop they negate most the speed difference.
Think of people running on a track, survivors are on the inside lane and killers are on the outside lane. The killer is faster, and you can see them gaining on straight away, but when they hit the turn, the inside lane has a shorter distance and the speed difference goes away and you don't see the person on the outside track gaining as much.
Now take away the straight parts, and you have looping in DbD
