Reverse Hook Struggle Input

Many times as survivor my friends have been hooked and somewhere in struggle phase they die and say they were pressing spacebar and don't know what happened. This usually causes discussion about what speed/tempo spacebar needs to be pressed, if the space key is dying, or if server lag ate an input. For a while I thought they were trolling me till it happened to me finally. So my suggestion is to make mashing space ######### on hook and no input keeps your character struggling against the entity. I get that mashing is mechanically thematic considering the situation, but I would argue that mashing in a situation where you have little control is not engaging and it would smooth out the overall game experience without affecting gameplay balance in anyway.

I guess it allows my one friend who still uses push to talk to speak during struggle lol
