I wouldn't say it's completely unreasonable, but I don't know how useful that would be. You'd end up wasting a substantial amount of your flashlight waving it around looking for portals, and ultimately there's nothing you can do about them anyway. You can't close them until they've been used. The only practical application there would be to avoid a "surprise portal", but given the map-wide sound effect, you'd already be on edge.

when he places one but hasnt teleported through it yet. its invisible and cant be destroyed. It would make sense that the flashlight would let you expose it to be destroyed.

I think I would rather they made all his green and up addons actually useful; for some reason they made all his best addons brown except for like 1 or 2 green/yellow ones.
Like almost all of his brown addons are more powerful than both his iri addons, that is so bizarre.

if you FIND them, YOU should be able to travel them yourself. and if you run into a demogorgon in the tunnel you get the "this is awkward" Debuff.

how is that a nerf? the flashlight magically stops invisibility, teleportation, and etchings in the ground it should be able to reveal an invisible portal also.

literally the last 3 updates have been killer buffs, theyre making it so sabotaging is quicker when really what they need to do is make wiggling quicker....

Actually, I would totally be in favor of this flashlight change if they just removed that global sound notification. It completely destroys any stealth potential; why even have the tiny undetectable window if it's accompanied by a blaring alarm that the killer is coming?

I think Wraith, Nurse, and Hag traps should be removed from the list of things Flashlights can expose.

No item should be able to take away a Killer's power. Removing the ability to sabotage Bear Traps was a step in the right direction.

When I saw this thread I thought it would be asking for survivors to be able to break portals with a flashlight which I am strongly against. But if you just want to be able to find an unused portal location with a flashlight then I'm all for that. You'll just burn out your flashlight for no reason! Even if you "activate" it so it can be interacted with and destroyed that is still a win for the killer.

Lightburning a wraith is basically just bullying. He already can't attack while cloaked, he doesn't need an extra weakness.
Lightburning a Nurse has never happened.
Removing Hag traps with flashlights is a feast or famine issue; survivor counterplay goes from "crouch walk to the hook and hope the hag forgot what her power is" to "immediately destroy the only mobility option of a 110% killer." I'd agree that survivors need more options for dealing with hag traps, but right now they only have the nuclear option.

no they buffed doctor, oni, and killer points, also theyre buffing trapper, and the only thing that got nerfed about killer that really impacts anything is ruin. If you know how to pressure its actually better than before.
