Why is the pig so weak?
Why is the pig so weak? The killers that are paid like Mayers can throw you in one hit, gosthface too, leatherface can also throw you in one hit and Freddy (in addition to having the arm of the elastic man of the fantastic 4) is a very strong killer. Again I ask: why is the pig so bad if it is also a killer that cannot be obtained for free? are plans to improve it? Is there any enmity between the developers and the owners of the rights of the film? I feel a bit cheated when paying for such a useless killer, the traps are not difficult to remove, they are only activated when an engine is completed... she has so much against it that I am really thinking of asking for a refund for her 🤨

lmao you cant refund characters.

Pig is a good killer, you just need to learn when to place traps, save traps till last generator, and use crouch more
Her only issue is the threat of the traps
17 -
lmao!!!!!! you can refund DLCs if you buy it on Steam and you use them for less than 2 hours 🤣

Many times I keep them, but they do not work either, because by trapdoor they have no effect and the survivors can escape, also it is very easy to remove them 🙄

This game isn't pay to win lol
13 -
She's not a bad killer
5 -
Piggy is definitely not bad, but she takes some skill to play - learning when to dash etc. Her RBT's are actually not going to get you many kills, they're not meant to, it's a slow down mechanic.
I suggest asking some pig mains for some advice on how to play her, watch a couple of pig main streamers etc - some are always happy to give advice on how they play their main.

But as I said all paid killers can throw you in one hit and Freddy is a very strong killer without it being necessary for him throw you in one hit and the pig is the weakest killer considering that you have to pay for her 🤔
1 -
Yeah, not really
With the proper perks and add-ons removing them can be a pain, like Bag of Gears and Huntress's lullaby (By the way Huntress's lullaby is a free DLC perk!)
Its all on RNG, they are not easy to remove, but also not hard
Believe me, I main any killer with a hoodie and she is actually really good if you understand how to play her
Don't just ignore survivors who are on Boxes, scare them away or even hit and/or down them!
Her crouch is really good for early hits and scaring people off the boxes, her RBT's are not meant for killing, but meant for keeping survivors off the generators.
If you manage to get an RBT on a survivor while 1 gen remains then if a survivor is to get a generator done that survivor is in big danger as if someone is to open exit or if YOU open exit for some reason, they have around 2 minutes I believe to get that trap off and get out.

Well, but it is very weak compared to other paid killers 🙃
2 -
I consider her the weakest stealth killer, but definitely not the weakest killer. That would be Legion or Clown. And a one hit down doesn't always make a good killer. Leatherface is weaker than Pig and you also have to pay for him.
2 -
Does that mean you are not going to make any changes to it?
1 -
Not only paid characters, she is weak killer in general
She is not as bad as Clown or Legion, but she definitely is not much better than them.
1 -
Pig is a very different killer to the rest of the stealth roster. She's the closest thing to being a stealth pressure killer.
No joke, but her teachable Surveillance is actually a huge help. Not because of it's aura reading, but it's secondary effect of you can hear generator repairs louder. Combine this with her Ambush ability too to easily get that first hit.
Still, you just have to play stealth, be careful with your traps, leave trapped test subjects largely alone (Do NOT tunnel them!) but down them if they run into you. Focus in generators, and don't hunt away from them. Also kind of an obvious one, but seriously aim for the 3-gen where possible.

To me the clown is a very good killer, I almost always get 4k with him, (I never use Legion) and that Leatherface can pull you in one hit seems strong to me

Pig had nice late game pressure, but later changes indirectly nerfed her, leaving her with only downsides.
- Traps are too random
- Her crouch sucks as a stealth ability (weapon sheathing sound and the roar)
Thats it basically. Her power is just too weak compared to other Killers.
Trapper also has not too strong, RNG based power, but his traps help in chases even in the worst case scenario.

Thanks, I will take your advice, but I think the only good thing about the killer is the perk that in the PTB will now work to see the aura of people near the hook
0 -
I certainly believe that the Trapper is a killer much stronger than the pig, and I agree with what you say, a stealth killer that makes so much noise when it is going to attack is very unfair, gosthface for example does not have that problem
1 -
Lmao I have her for the perks and that's it. Level 40 pig with like 2 pages of all green and yellow perks
0 -
Last I heard, Huntress Lullaby does not work with Jigsaw Boxes.
I love Pig, but her stealthing is slow, her ambush is situational, and her Traps are super inconsistent.

Please, it is almost 2 hours and I can not open DBD again without losing the opportunity to return to the killer, could you tell me please if there are plans to improve the killer?
0 -
I also have all his perks because I had points saved, that's why I'm thinking of returning the DLC and just keeping his perks
0 -
Now this is wierd, almost whole community agrees that Clown is the weakest killer lol.
His power is easily countered by dropping pallets, and even when used perfectly, it doesnt make chases that much faster. So basically his power isnt even that good at doing the only thing its good for.
Letherface is also very weak killer, but his power is the most dangerous in the game. The problem is that you will never have a chance to use it to its full potential. So yeah, Letherface is extremely dangerous, but only if you are a potato
2 -
Really?
Man, I should question xbox players then...

Her mini ruin is useful and she is good at tunneling, but apart dominating one unlucky survivor, she is m1 tier killer. Sad bottom tier. You 3k and 4k only if survivors dont do generators and run into corners.

Everything is debatable, but I want to compare DLCs that are not free, and I think the pig is too weak if we think you have to pay for it

Miss Piggy works best if you can keep track of survivor positions. I usually do this with slugs and setting up ambushes. Blindness perks can also shake up their rhythm. Knockout will delay survivors finding the slug. And if the slug gets up, that usually means a second survivor. You can potentially let the slug go if they have a helmet on as they'll prioritize that. It's better than hook camping.
Her ambush attack can be used mid-chase. It can easily catch up to survivors which is why it got the perk nerf awhile back. People underestimate it's utility.
And if all else fails, I usually have bloodwarden. Got a real angry message for that one.

I think that their traps are very easy to remove, many times in the first box I can get rid of them, time is lost by placing them and only 4 by default is very unfair, I think she would have more by default and that they activate instantly and not when an engine is completed. I also think that the sound he makes totally breaks his stealth and makes it useless since it is very easy to know when he is about to attack and escape from it. In a high loop it is easy to lose the survivor and for them it is easy to know where to run when they see their light immediately. For my the red light would have to be kept hidden until the attack was over and maybe the sound should be removed, it would also have to start with at least 5 traps by default and would have to be activated at the time of placing them 🤔

Hangman's Trick still doesn't seem all that impressive on the PTB and I say that Surveillance is one of the most underrated perks in the game, and not many people expect it.
If you know how to use Pig and either play Dash add-ons or mix Ambush and normal attacks, then she can be quite terrifying.
What rank and platform are you on btdubbbz?

It ain't gonna catch up to anyone unless you use it point blank with ambush add-ons, at which point you could have just M1'd them anyways. It is only useful at mindgaming Survivors on certain loops.
3 -
It seems very useful to me to hangman's Trick in PTB, but I lose a lot the survivors in the loops trying to use the ambush, besides she is so small that when I duck practically I can't see anything 🤣
I'm on PC in rank 6 as killer and rank 16 as a survivor

Cannibal, Clown, Legion, Plague, Demogorgon, and Oni. More than half the "paid killers" are weaker than her. On top of that she even has a stronger additional objective mechanic than Freddy.
Literally the only thing I would buff about her is how quickly a key can be found, but there are times when you don't find a key for like 5 boxes and that's extremely detrimental to the entirity of the trial. However it would be hard to buff that mechanic since it relies entirely on the fact that it is RNG based.

That explains a lot. I'm a console Pig. She seems to be slightly stronger here. I'm also a lower ranked killer than you, but I have devoted possibly a little too much time to Pig.
I do also have to recommend using very expensive headphones with Surveillance. It really does help.
1 -
I personally think Oni and Demo are stronger than Pig (even if I am turrible with Oni), and if the whole thing about her starting with a Corrupted Pool makes it to live, I think Plague will be too.
1 -
I have 7.1 headphones and they help me a lot, but I really have a lot of problems with the pig, when I duck practically I can't see anything, the survivors run when they hear the roar and rarely can I attack them, they remove the traps very quickly, and in the last game a player did not remove his trap and escaped through the hatch, that is why I am thinking of returning it, I feel that paying for it is not worth it 😟
I think the only good thing is the 7 seconds memento mori 🤣

Having a one shot is not a requirement of a good killer or paid killer. I've only used pig through offerings two dozen times or so. Every game, with the exception of maybe one or two games, I did really well. That is with no perks and no add ons at green/purple ranks. It is the next DLC I will buy. Her ability to go undetectable at will with gen monitoring perks can make her incredibly deadly. Some of my friends consider her the biggest PITA to face because 0TR and time wasting traps. Face her at the meat plant or hawkins, forget about it.
Traps are medium risk/ high reward. They can effectively slow the game beyond the point of old ruin. If you're removing traps you're not doing gens. The game becomes 3v1 or player 4 becomes an easy target while trying to remove. Factor in add-ons that cause exhaustion or blindness and traps are even more deadly and cause greater drag on the team. The only crux is how easily traps come off. It could be one attempt or it could be four.

I love the pig but i stopped playin her when ger RBTs stopped killing ppl leaving through the gate
Edit: Also bear in mind, she was designed to counter genrush by trapping survivors.

I do not deny that his perks are good, at least 1 or 2 of them, but I think his ability is not worth it, it is certainly fun, but just losing your light and your radius of terror when you are crouched does not seem very useful , since immediately when you want to ambush your light turns on and you make a lot of noise, making it very difficult to attack someone, also because of its size it is very difficult to see something when it is crouched and that the traps only activate when a generator is repaired it seems unfair, I think ghostface is much more useful and very similar in its mechanics, I would say that it is an improved pig without all the defects of she has. I think that 1 hit is more useful than putting a trap after 2 hits, and that does not activate until an engine is repaired many people do not remove the trap and continue repairing because they know that it is very easy to remove it and that they have enough time to go to 4 or 5 boxes without the trap opening in their head
1 -
It's not that she's bad, theres just way better killers that are more fun.
2 -
Yes.. maybe, but I think she is bad considering that you have to pay for it, I would not be here if it were a killer that I can get for free, and compared to other paid killers she is terribly weak and I think that give back his terror radio and his light after finishing his ambush and not at the beginning of it and maybe giving him more traps by default could be a small change that would help a lot to be a decent killer that worth paying
1 -
You mean her? It's Amanda not John Kramer.
Bubba is the worst licensed killer, his "power" is a complete hindrance.
2 -
Pig can be an amazing killer long as you know when too place the traps too delay the important parts of the game. And how on earth is Cannibal a good killer in any form? his power actively works against him. And Freddy was the worst killer in the game until about a year ago, so that info is also wrong.
Just learn more about killer before posting about how weak/strong a killer is.

Two traps ASAP, two traps in the later half of the game, the fifth trap as you see fit if you are running Last Will. Ya?
1 -
I'm not a pig main so idk lol.
0 -
I know is Amanda, I don't understand your question

Cannibal has the best perk of the game (BBQ) has a power that makes it possible to hit and down 4 people at once. Freddy is an excellent killer at the moment, what is the alleged incorrect information?
I only have 2 hours to test the DLC, I watched some videos and read in the official DBD forum and everyone says that it is a very weak killer, it is fun, but very weak, your ability practically makes no sense, because you are in stealth but you make noise and you get light and radius of terror as soon as you try to use their ability (stealth ability) the traps are easy to remove and do not prevent a survivor from escaping, the traps are only activated when a generator is completed, she is very small and you can barely see anything when you're crouched. I do not need more, I am 100% sure that it is the weak paid killer and that it is not worth paying for it. The question is whether they will improve it or I return it, end.
1 -
Ehhhh, on paper, Leatherface can down four people at once. In practice, he is almost never getting more than one at a time unless he is camping.

Because getting killed by Reverse Bear Traps is not fun for Survivors
1 -
Yes, I agree, but in practice as much as on paper all that is said about the pig is true
