Hey Devs! How are you?

I know you get posts like this often and everyone doing them is pasionat about their idea... so am I.

I hope you dont skip this one because you had a billion of them.


I want to introduce you to a killer that would change the gameplay!!!

Name: The Bat (?) / The Predator (?) [IF you would consider making him you can call him what ever you want]

TL;DR: Very Fast, Completly Blind, Hears extemly good, M2-Ability: Sonar, his hearing is ALSO his weakness!!!


Long:

I imagine the killer as a beast, but I dont have any lore on him I am only here because of the gameplay idea I have, sooo he could also be some human/animal(bat) experiment.

He is completely blind and only orientates with his hearing: the view of the person who is playing the killer would show him no survivor at all, just like the view of the Spirit 

while using her ability but WITHOUT any scratch marks. IF a survivor performs a quick action (the actions with holding shift) or makes some loud noise the killer receives a visual and sound notification and 

the survivor has a "visible aura" as long as he is loud. Inside of normal terror radius 32m (but he needs definitely a 38m terror radius because of "Monitor & Abuse") sprinting will be highlighted as an aura.

Inside of 24m radius every non silent action whil be highlighted for the killer with an aura of the survivor. That means that only CTRL actions are save now. inside of 8m radius

every action will be noticed. Injured survivor do count as an silent action and are visible inside of 8m, "Iron Will" perk will make the survivor undetectable by injury.


The killer is an animal and much faster then a human killer, his speed must be atleast a 180% he should hunt non stop!

His ability: SONAR

Sonar is a chanaling ability that can only be used while standing still and focusing on the sounds. It needs to have a startup of atleast 1 second.

I imagine the Bat making his ears very big and pointing with them at everything around (just like a dog or a doe does, I hope you understand what I mean) while he is doing so

the person who is playing killer is seeing an circle around him that gets bigger and bigger with every second channaling, this circle will reach eventually 32m and WILL reveal 

EVERY survivor when touched and highlight their aura as long as channaling! The survivor are NOT seeing the circle but they hear a very specific high frequency sound 

ONLY if inside the 32m and will hear a different high frequency sound if the circly touched them so they can start acting in any way they think is the best.

The ability can be canceled instantly but the auras are also gone instantly, so the killer needs to remeber where the person was and can try a hit on previously known position.

If the survivor was outside of 8m he could try to sneak away and make the killer miss a hit or force him to use the sonar again to find him.

Special Abilities:

-"Diversion" perk would create for short time a survivor aura where the pebble lands, the process of throwing is completely silent and can be done inside of 8m

-The killer is stunned by every VERY loud action for 3 seconds inside of 8m radius: failing a generator skill check, hitting a survivor, hooking a survivor, firecrackers

and opening door siren. While stunned he looses the ability to hear (see auras)

-The killer does see the progression of the generator by the saturation,

BUT every generator will also create an area around it that is getting bigger with the progression and is reaching 8m radius. this area will hide every noise (making every noise inside Lvl 1) 

and also hiding every injured survivor forcing the Bat using his sonar and giving the survivors enough room to move around freely and quick.

-the locker cant hide from the sonar BUT does decrease the noise level by one (so injured survivor can hide even inside 8m radius)

-the killer is completly imune to light, he cant be stunned by flashlight and he CANT see the light BUT he can hear the click (inside 24m)

-he vaults windows as quick as a survivor, dont forget his running speed is atleast 180%!!! Its really mandatory! He needs it!

-because of the forced stealth survivors he will lack Hunter category, he should receive a bonus for hitting survivors AND survivors should receive a Boldness bonus for being

inside his radius and bigger bonus for being closer to him

-his sensible ears need to adjust after a pallet stun longer, he is not stunned longer but he doesnt "hear" (see auras) for 3 second after stun or use sonar for 3sec after stun

-while he is carrying a survivor he cant hear anything but the loud survivor on his shoulder (no other auras) ,he carries the body to the hook much slower with 130%, 

its still a lot faster then normal killer BUT he can be stunned by every pallet because he doesnt see anything

-he knows where the hooks are because the Entity is calling him


Note: its just a balance I could think of without testing and playing him, if you guys would make him you could ofcourse change the balance if you like, I just hope the core

will could stay the same. E.g. I dont know how long he should be stunned by very loud actions, 3 sec is like DS I thought it could be ok.


You guys did a lot of awesome killer in this 3 years and some of them are very game changing, BUT every killer countered in the same way an experienced runner can distract

the killer and outrun him. I wanted to give you an idea for a killer that CANT be outrunned, because sprinting would highlight the survivor and the Bat runns with alteast 180%.

With the Bat you could give more HORROR and ADRENALIN into the game and a completly new experience for many player who played the game only offensive until now.


Some Perk Ideas if you are still here:

1) "Protect the Prey"

IF you are carrying a survivor and getting in chase with 3/2/1 survivor at the same time hit them with the exposed status.

2) "Trapped Chest"

You start the trial with 1/2/3 chests random trapped, a trapped chest will hurt the survivor by one stage 

(if you like you can make it not inflicht dying state, but it would be so funny if you let it like it is)

3)"Haunted Locker"/"Spiders in the Locker"/"Creepy Locker"

A survivor who is hidding in the locker is scared my e.g. "spiders"(Entity helps here) after 40/30/20 sec hidding and is forced to exit it quick (Shift Exit)!


Dear devs if you are inspired by anything what I wrote pls use it! You can change what every you like and balance how you please, I just hope that you can keep the core

I DONT need or want any credit for this ideas, I give you the Devs of Dead By Daylight every right for it. I just want to see this ingame!
