Mythological killers
Why not mythological killers like the Gorgons, cycilla, the sirens, Circe etc as killers and the mythological hero be a survivor. Idk but I'd like to see Perseus in dead by daylight what are your guy's thoughts

I want a scary Mermaid that has to use her arms to drag her body around. When she approaches you, you hear her tail slapping on the ground and her hands digging into the mud, clawing her way to you. She should also leave a trail of water/slime behind her.

Perseus repairing gens? That just wouldn't fit, imo.

Gorgon killer with mori animation turning the survivor into stone and then shattering them? Yes please.

Well that's just an example. Another example would be king Arthur or like Shiva granted Shiva is a deity but you get the gist

A gorgon killer could be really interesting; potentially another stalking killer, but instead of exposing the survivors they stun them for a second or two? If hit during the stun the deep wound status effect is applied? Or maybe while stunned the survivor movement speed is lowered instead? I could most definitely get behind the aesthetics of a gorgon at the very least.
Would also be here for survivors from ancient times, regardless of their understanding of advanced technology lol.

The Oni is probably about as close as they've gotten. Also, somewhat Hag with the Wendigo.

I would like something like the Medusa from Clash of the Titans:
But less scales from the waist and above. Tired of ugly killers, give me a semi-sexy one that likes to show it. Daddy-Michael is nice, but even his Hospital Gown isn't enough. They have to make her lower torso as a snakes body, which would probably be too much work for them.

Well, my problem wasn't with Perseus, per se, but the game is set in modern times. It would just seem silly to have mythological heroes in modern times, doing mundane stuff like repairing gens. They would be out trying to kill the killers. Current survivors are essentially nobodies who were in the wrong place at the wrong time, so they fit. I have no problem with mythological monsters being added though.

Maybe instead of having someone from the time period you get like an ancient historian survivor or something if there even needs to be a connection with the killer

And like if your in a loop around a pallet or something the slime makes it slippery and if the slip they enter injured state

You could say the same about Ash Williams.

Ohhh that would be sooo good!

well, maybe the ancient survivors were taken by the entity a long time ago and could have like, their own gens to do in their own map like fixing a Windmill or a water mill or something. Then you crank the gates open.
