What if everyone runs Object?

Member Posts: 2,533

The Killer can’t just tunnel the Object out of the game since everyone is the Object. They just have to deal with it.

It’s like a perma-BBQ except it’s impossible to use the info to surprise survivors

Have you ever seen that happen?

Free Auras while mine is hidden?

    Yes, please.

If you have a perk that makes survivors oblivious survivors will punish themselves more actually!

So you can actually make survivors hurt themselves with Nemesis and Freddy as Oblivious does this

    • The Survivor does not hear The Killer's Terror Radius.
    • The Survivor is not affected by any effects that are conditional to being inside of a Terror Radius.

    While OoO does this

This effect applies only if you are outside of the Killer's Terror Radius.

As the Killer's Obsession , this effect applies to a maximum range of 56/64/72 metres. Otherwise, it applies to a maximum range of 44/56/64 metres.

From what I noticed while using Nemesis, because the perk's minimum range is the TR of the killer, so because the survivor does not hear the TR, the minimum range is 0. While this perk hurts both the killer and survivor, now you can get a precise hit more often.

I don't know how undetectable works with this as it doesn't reveal YOUR aura but doesn't say anything about revealing the survivors Aura

    Wraith gets Undetectable while cloaked.

I can see their Auras up to 0 meters.

    It's really handy in loops.

I've had this happen 3 times, I've DC'ed every time.

EDIT: To be clear this was before the DC penalty, but I would still most likely just eat the 5 minute timeout. It would be less annoying to deal with than 4 OoO users.

Oblivious on OoO would just buff it since theyd be able to see you through junglegym walls and youd never be able to mindgame anything.

    Evil GhostFace laughter starts

Thanks for letting me know as I rarely get OoO as my mains

Last time I got it was as Oni with Nemesis, it was hilarious

Not on all killers, some long range attacking killers like Huntress and Deathslinger can reward off of this

Maps like hawkins can also hurt the survivor as now they will need to be careful on what they do

    everyone gets facecamped.

Huntress is probably hurt most from OoO since the survivor will always tell when your aiming at them and her smaller than normal TR allows OoO to work at closer ranges. OoO is a hard counter to Huntress.

A rough calculation off the top of my head is about maybe 10 to 15 percent of the player base of survivors are actually really good. A survivor who is not very good running object is toast. So everyone running object would simply be gg ez for killers.

Try telling that to Trapper against a swf with a person running object.

At least in that case, Trapper is at least 115% still. Huntress is 110% and cant hope to land any ranged shots, while taking FOREVER to close distance.
