Hatch should be first come first served

I'm so sick of lucking out/or working hard and hunting hatch at the very end of a match..... just to have the killer walk up and shut it right under my feet.

Why does it prioritize killers? Is it because of the dedicated servers? If so, that REALLY needs to change as it makes the hatch even more pointless to survivors.

This happens far too often. I'm not waiting for a prompt, it's not a timing issue because I am mashing the ever loving feck out of my button so that the split second I get that prompt I can get it and get out.

Killer just rolls up on me crouched there. Nods nods nods nods nods andddd BOOM closes the hatch thats under me before I even get a chance to jump.

I thought the hatch was supposed to be the only guaranteed way out for survivors? A way out of the nightmare when there are no other means of escape. If I can't even use it why does it exist?

It's the same scenario every single time.

Killer hooks 3rd survivor on last hook. I've been busting my ass all match doing objectives and staying alive. 3rd Survivor dies. Both exits are in eye line of one another, hatch spawns in front of one. Killer closes hatch and stands there.

I have ZERO chance at escape here. And killers have zero incentive to actually hunt because EGC Momma is just going to kill the survivor anyways.

I mean I don't mind killers being able to close the hatch. I think it's a great game mechanic. But there NEEDS to be some kind of balance here. I used to be able to have a chance, albeit a small one, but it was THERE before. Now Once you're the last man standing you might as well just stand under a hook until you get crows and offer yourself up because that's all you are now. A god damn sacrifice to a killer than couldn't quite 'get the job done' so to speak. Lame. So Lame.

Yeah, I'm frustrated. Read the forums. EVERYONE is frustrated for many many reasons. We need a way to get out, and if the way out for us backfires, why bother?
