Why high rank survivor queue times are so high?
Or why Red rank survivors keep going up against Green and Yellow Rank Killers??
I know they said the emblem system is unsatisfactory and they want to switch to MMR, but did they ever say why the matchmaking like this has been happening more than ever before?

ITs logical, the game is currently very survivor sided if we look at how ez it is to rank up.
(you can blame insecure survivors for that btw, they felt inadequate if the game did not reward them with a rank up for mediocre gameplay, so the devs ermm listened to this whining and voila, every survivor to the red ranks!)
So, Survivors easily get to red ranks and killer stay behind.
The system tries to pair Red ranks with Red ranks but there arnt any Red rank killers...soooo it takes a while, keeps looking and as time goes on it broadens its search parameters, suddenly purple rank killers are fine as well, searching.....searching....hmm no purple ranks, FINE, green ranks it is, searching searching....THERE WE GO, finally, enjoy your match.

Ruin had something to do with it, despite many on these forums claiming it didn't.
It didn't affect good survivors but it kept the crappy ones from ranking up. Taking out ruin is the same as giving participation trophy's. You think you accomplished something? Now we got survivors in red ranks that can't even loop. They whine that killer is OP, the devs look at their red rank and assume "They must be know what they're talking about" so killer gets nerfed even more.
Combined with all the nerfs killer has been getting and red ranks flooded with survivors. We have a system where killers are thrown at whoever is first in line. Regardless of if it's a fair match or not. Granted it is 4 vs 1 and if killer was op you would have no one playing survivor. It's like Friday the 13th where everyone wanted to be Jason. But the devs have to keep killers happy just enough to get them to stay. They've been failing miserably at that part.

The issue will go away once they remove rank from the end screen.

Yep, as soon as rank is hidden, then we won't be able to complain about rank, since we can't see it! Problem solved!
