Decisive should be an Exhaustion Perk
Make Decisive an Exhaustion Perk to tone it down a little.
You can't use it when you're exhausted, so if you get unhooked, use an exhaustion perk and the Killer wins that chase. They know you can't DS them.
Plus a successful Decisive makes you exhausted for 40 seconds. So if you get chased after using DS, you can't use your exhaustion perks.
Adds a layer of counterplay that didn't exist before, but still leaves DS in a strong place. Just maybe not quite as meta as before

The main problem with DS is that it can be used outside of tunneling/camping.
I believe more conditions to focus DS more towards what it's supposed to do and make it more reliable would make it balanced.
For example: 60 second timer that deactivates when the killer hooks a survivor.
Timer will pause while downed.

I would also add that DS should deactivate if you are grabbed. So no more of this "I have the superman perk now I can go unhook this person!"

You can grab an injured survivor during a chase through a window or off a pallet so yeah no.
@NMCKE you can't do the hook another person thing either. Look how many farmers and dumb plays teammates make.
I'm hooked the survivor comes in hot with the killer trailing and already injured unhooks me without BT and both of us get downed. The killer hooks the farmer now im completely screwed.

Then it should be deactivated if you attempt an unhook. So it'll work if you're just running away from a killer who's tunneling you, but it won't work if you're using DS to go for unsafe unhooks.

Sounds like someone relies on DS. It should deactivate if you step into a trap, or attempt to perform an unhook.

Right now, but goes off if you do gen and get paused if you are downed maybe can be the easy perfect fix.

If DS was an exhaust perk it would be the hardest, and the only one that can undoubtedly be procced once a match. Theres already 2 heavy conditions that need to be met, the time frame, and being hooked previously. With DS having exhaust that would mean Mindbreaker would be able to situationally counter DS.
Problem is if they just make DS duration any shorter the use of it will be pointless because it would be the exact same thing as Borrowed Time, but without any of the heavy conditionals (hooking, time window). IMHO Borrowed time is too free of a perk comparatively than DS.

So how would it being an exhaustion perk or conditional in any way stop it from being anti tunnel? What we're asking is that it only be for anti tunnel purposes.
