Killers having exhaustion perks?
Aight guys try not to roast me too bad cause I'm a little tipsy rn but how do y'all feel about killers having a exhaustion perk. Do y'all feel like it could help against bigger maps lmk what y'all think? If yes let me know y'all's ideas it might help the developers.

Lol, think about what you are asking for. If it was a literal exhaustion perk that would mean that the killer would have to not run for 40 seconds to use the perk again. That sounds awful. If you just mean a powerful perk that has a cooldown well we already have those. Well, truthfully I think most killer perks that have a cooldown should have the cooldown either removed or greatly diminished. But that's a topic for another thread.

Eh idk exactly I was more tryna see what other thought was a good idea, if I had to think I'd say maybe a speed burst after a pallet was broken, what do you think?

Not to try and burst this bubble but I’m worried about how Stealth killers would ruin this idea...unless the other only way to remove exhaustion is if the killer stood still. If it’s just not running then Pig and Ghost would benefit the most, just by slowly approaching while exhausted but still being able to participate and capitalize on exhaustion perks. The rest would have to stand still, right?
Anyway, I’m not 100% against the idea, I think it’s an interesting thought and might be fun to play around with the idea of sacrificing time for a momentary boost of power but I’m afraid that killers don’t have the time to spare so most likely this could never be implemented right now.

I dont think devs would add it, because pallets are designed to slow down killers. It would break pallet design. The sprint burst can be added only after putting survivors on hook, but, usually, its never worth it to walk across all map and its impossible to protect distant generators. Also, it wouldnt be worth it to take a Sprint Burst perk over Pop / Rancor / Bamboozle / NOED / BBQ / Monitor and Abuse and other good perks.

Well there are a couple perks like devour hope and noed that give you a brief haste status effect, but both are extremely conditional

Insidious would be used a lot more to mitigate exhaustion. And all know how much survs love that perk.

I think an exhaustion perk would be fine,however BHVR would probably nerf it by lowering killers base speed which would render it useless

Maybe, but I think there could be an interesting dynamic of it instead of needing you to stop as a killer to get it back you lose 5% move speed, so 115% go to 110% and 110% to 105% for a length of time, this then still lets the killer move but being slower even by a little is rough for killers so the effect gained could be relatively strong especially if the slow effect lasts 60 seconds, as for ideas... killer version of dead hard but it’s a charge? Set transport teleportation stations that are in fixed locations using one gives exhaustion? Quick vault where the killer jumps through the window as quick as a survivor quick vault? Could be interesting indeed.

A killer moving at 105% means a trip to pallet town every time not to mention how detrimental it'll be on the 110% killers

If we're going to give killers exhaustion perks I also want killers to have Decisive Strike. I'll let you decide how it should work ;)

They kinda already do, a lot of perks interact with totems. Even as recent as the Demo expansion.
