Nerf BBQ on slugged survivors
BBQ&Chili shouldnt be able to show the auras of survivors in dying state...
This would give slugged survivors at least a chance to find a safe spot to hide.
Since the survivor perk "Distortion" doesnt work while in dying state, there is no reason for BBQ to work for that too.
If killers want to see crawling survivors, the shall get the killer perk "Dearstalker", because that is what the perk was made for. BBQ makes Dearstalker redundant...
And BBQ should not reward killers for slugging survivors all over the map.
Killers dont want to search them after 2 mins of slugging? Then they shall not slugg them...
But dont let BBQ do their search...

I'm a killer main and I say "Okay". BBQ would be fine without showing dying state survs. Often wondered if it was intentional or not to be honest.
Would give the "Deerstalker" perk more purpose.
Or fix distortion.

Bbq requires a hook and also requires the slug survivor to be further then 40 meters away, I can say the same for survivors and say run tenacity and crawl towards the direction of the killer to try to avoid being spotted. Bbq is a fine perk where it stands but survivors will find something wrong with any good perk

So you think its ok to give BBQ the effect of another Perk + its own effect of seeing auras of non-dying-state-survivors + the effect of getting more bloodpoints? Even the bloodpoints are rediculus. it makes this perk so important, you cant even toss it for another perk.
And as a killer, i would love to play discordance instead, but those bloodpoints..., its a must-have. And its one of the reasons why killers play it in like every game.
And btw, saying you should run tenacity is stupid, cause you should not have to run a specific perk, to counter a perk. you should adapt and counter it by play style.

You shouldnt have to run a specific perk to counter a killer perk... why would i need to gamble and try to pick 1 counter perk of so many available perks? Your comment about tenacity is just irrelevant. You should be able counter it by adapting your playstyle, what is no problem for surivors in non-dying state, since there are a few ways to not be seen.
But in dying state you cant outrun the killer, you cant use lockers, and trying to hide behind a generator is not even half as effective, because the killer knows you cant be far away from the point where he left you. And when he doesnt see you, guess where he will be searching first? Behind the generator...
And yeah, he needs a hook 40 metres away, but thats not really rare. Think about beeing slugged as one oft the other survivors. Other survivor runs with killer to the other side of the map and gets hooked. How should the slugged survior be able to follow them? not even with tenacity...
Survivors should have at least the chance of slugging away since this is the only option they have in the time the killer follows someone else.
What else should they do? They cant even DC anymore because of penalties. Trying to crawl away is useless if killer sees your aura 10 seconds later and knows where you went, its just wasted time for the survivor on the floor... why not then let surivors kill their self instead or just take the ability to crawl away from them? its useless anyway against BBQ...
I dont think a chance would be a hard nerf for the perk, but it would give survivors at least a chance and a reason to crawl...

I can only repeat that I'd be fine with that change. I don't -want- it but I'd be fine with it.
While we're at it, home about giving "We're Gonna Farm Forever" SOME kind of benefit other than BP stacks?

I would rather take BP from any other perks and maybe transform that to some special offerning? or stuff. Dont know.
But i dont like the thought of being forced to take a specific perk in order to get more BP.
Or just make perks like 100% BP only, 4 possible Perks to take.
So you can decide on how many Perksslots you sacrifice in order to get more BP.

I wanted such change for a very long time and it makes perfect sense because killers do have a perk that track survivors on the ground already

Well you dont need to waste a perk for it.
Just pick your survivor up when you down him.
Or you dont pick him up and search over sounds and bloodstains...?

first off the sounds are basically removed 50% of the time on downed survivors due to "bugs" and honestly based on your number of posts im going to assume youre still new to the game but at this point mid-late game slugging is one of the only ways to reliably control game speed as a killer

Well, i assume you are still new to this game because when i play killer, i dont need to slug people to win the match before all gens are done.
But with a little bit more gametime and practice you will probably make it someday too whithout slugging and crying about game speed.
And your comment that sounds bug 50% of time... well how about trying to force a bugfix instead of giving a specific perk the ability to overgo this?
And btw. even if i wouldnt have more than 1000 hours gameplay time. I wouldnt need so much playtime to see that there is something wrong with this perk. And you dont need to be so cocky to look down on me "assuming youre still new to this game".
How about you try it with logic instead of making fun of others and blame all on bugs and unfair gamespeed?

its been a bug since july theres no fixing it and to insinuate that I slug is insulting I literally play pig who is incapable of slugging like I said based on your amount of posts im going to assume youre just new and have an inflated sense of ego because you play at low ranks which is why you have such easy killer matches

And no, iam not low elo. I play killer and suvivor both on rank 1. And even as killer i know that this BBQ effect is a problem, because i will just take the last survivor and hang them 1 or 2 hooks farther away to trigger BBQ on the downed survivor, although i hate it. Its a stupid abuse that cant be countered by the survivor on the floor, taking away a chance to escape the killer (what the crawling is intended to).

Then dont run the perk and use Survivor Puddings/Escape Cakes or BPSs. You are giving up a slot for the extra BP. You dont NEED the perk, you just have the option to run it. And if you dislike the perk, dont run it. You still make decent BP progress without them, but its 100% faster overall.
Im a minmax-ing person when it comes to BP. So I will run BBQ/WGLF every time on characters that have the perk. Getting an extra slot? Might be nice. But its my choice.

There are counters even on the floor just crawl one way while it’s active then crawl the other way after also I don’t appreciate you editing your posts to add on an extra two paragraphs

Personally, although I'm a lot less averse to slugging than most survivor mains seem to be, I'd much rather be picked up and hooked than crawl around for four minutes until I bleed out because the killer has no idea where I am.

Came here to post the same thing after I was bbq'd at the end of the game crawling looking for hatch and it opened right near me. Would have got it if they hadn't bbq'd me.
It would just give survivors some chance against slugging strats. We already have very little chance at getting exit gates open when it's 1v1 after hatch closes, at least give survivors this.

As a Killer player that uses BBQ as often as possible, I would welcome the change. It should only affect healthy and hurt survivors but those in the dying state shouldn't be visible.

I'd really be fine with the change. I'd make slugging for the 4k more risky than it is now. Do you kill the 3rd survivor and use BBQ to see if he's within 32m or do you slug for the 4k and risk losing your slug, giving them a chance to get hatch?
It's way more high risk/high reward than low risk/high reward that it currently is.

BBQ and WGLF should have the point aspect base-kit. BBQ's sole ability would be the aura reveal after a hook and WGLF would need a different effect.

Let's just get rid of BBQ. It's always some trashy player who doesn't know how to play that uses it. Literally, every killer that's ran it has been awful for me. If you can't find Survivors, you're better off not playing killer.
