Make The Cannibal Stance Based

As it stands, Bubba is considered the worst killer.  Not because he has a weak power; being able to one-hit anyone is not a bad thing at all.  But his power is simple, and his addons are derivative.  He is braindead to play as and against.

His power can really only make plays against multiple survivors, which doesn't occur often enough, and hardly at all if people know not to stand in your way without someone on your shoulder.

I know he is aimed for a rework, as the Devs themselves admitted he was made in a rush.  So I offer my own interpretation as to what a Bubba rework would look like and how it would be fun for all sides.

THE BUBBA REWORK

Power:

Bubba's Chainsaw.

Instead of having to hold down M2 to rev your chainsaw, Bubba instead has to crank his chainsaw first. Cranking grants 4% progression to a total of 100%, filling a power meter around his ability icon. While cranking, he moves at 96% movement speed and cranks once every 1.15 seconds.

At each progression of his power, he gains a "stance" which lets him utilize more and more powerful chainsaw abilities. At each stance (in increments of 25%) his chainsaw takes just a bit longer to start up.

Bubba has 5 Stances he goes into.

  • Normal (0 - 24% Progression)

Bubba acts as a standard M1 killer with no power. He can only use an M1 attack.

  • Revving Up (25% - 49% Progression)

Bubba now unlocks the ability to use a Chainsaw Jog. Bubba takes 1 second to start his chainsaw. He lowers the saw down to his hip and starts charging forward, moving at 15% Haste in addition to his current speed. His power meter turns white and begins to shrink down at around 0.5% every 1 second. Upon a successful hit or a missed attack, Bubba loses 10% progression on his meter. A successful hit will cause Bubba to swing his chainsaw lowered to his hip upward, scraping the survivor with the tip of the revving saw and injures said survivor, putting them into the Deep Wound status effect.

  • Accelerating (50% - 74% Progression)

Bubba unlocks the ability to use his chainsaw as his basic attack. Bubba may take 1.5 seconds to start his chainsaw. He can either use Chainsaw Jog or swing his chainsaw like a normal attack. This attack can break pallets like a chainsaw ability if he swings, at the cost of 15% power progression. Both the Jog and the standard chainsaw cause Deep Wound, and additionally Hemorrhaging.

  • Speeding Up (75% - 99% Progression)

Bubba replaces his Chainsaw Jog ability with his current one; upon a short charge, he will start his chainsaw for 2 seconds. He can then release and begin to swing his chainsaw wildly. The progress bar will shrink down slightly faster as he is in this state.

His swinging ability no longer has a limit, and he can move with it on until his power meter reaches 0%. But he can no longer stand still while using his power. He has to charge ahead.

Upon downing a survivor with this ability, Bubba is refunded 25% progression to his power, allowing him more time to continue speeding up.

His chainsaw basic attack now one-shots.

  • Full Power (100% Progression)

At full power, Bubba takes 2.5 seconds to activate. After doing so, he releases a cry of anger and raises the chainsaw, standing still. For that duration, he sees the aura of all survivors for 3 seconds before going into his stance. His standard walking speed is increased by 3% and his vault speed is increased 25%.

Whenever the Cannibal downs someone with his chainsaw attacks, he will hear the heartbeats of other survivors (Like Legion, Ghostface, or Demogorgan).

Whenever Bubba downs someone while using his power, he is refunded progression AND he gains 10% additional speed for his chainsaw run.

Bubba can break pallets he walks into, whether they are down or not, for 10% of his power's progression while his chainsaw run is active. Breaking pallets with the chainsaw no longer stops the chainsaw run, instead he barrels right through and keeps going.
