If I use deliverance and adrenaline kicks in, I get the speed boost, but do I heal after the broken?
I recently played against a fairly bad plague. Could aim her spit but not her blood. While I was in a chase (which lasted for a long time), adrenaline kicked in and i got an extra speed boost, but, of course, could not heal as I had vomit all over me. Which made me think. If I'm broken I will get adrenaline's speed boost, but after I'm broken, without an automatic heal like with plague once you cleanse, will I return to full health?

No, no matter the circumstances. If you have the Broken Status effect applied to you than you will NOT heal. Adrenaline is weird, sometimes you'll actually heal from the mend state, but not go into the healthy state. As for the broken state, it de-activates all chances of healing from it until the status effect is gone.

It's weird yeah, I noticed that for the first time when Legion came out, Adrenaline just heals the mended state and that's it, you're still injured afterwards.
As Fibijean said, it most likely has to do with the mend state being it's own individual health state, which makes sense... since mending IS technically it's own health state BEFORE you can heal yourself. You get out into the mend state, mend, than you can start healing in the injured state.

I was disappointed when I tried using inner strength when I needed mending. Totem wasted.

Yeah, Deep Wound is classified as a separate health state in between Dying and Injured. So if you use anything that heals you one health state (Adrenaline, Inner Strength, Syringe as well probably) it does what it says on the tin and "heals" you to Injured.
