Solidarity is trash perk.
I had a challenge to do 1 full heal, and it took* me 10 games to not intentionally get it. Its useless.

I had a game today where I fully healed myself with Solidarity at least three times. The Perk works wonders against slugging.
1 -
I like the perk personally.
0 -
What that perk needs is the following text added to it: "Whenever you are injured you can see the aura of the nearest injured survivor." It still wouldn't be good. But at least it might be useful once in a while.
11 -
Sounds like you don't know how to use it.. Pair it with Empathy, Autodidact and Spine Chill
0 -
Autodidact, lol. Another trash perk, btw.
5 -
Or a trash survivor.. Get 4-5 stacks and it's godly at end game for insta-heals and insta-pickups
5 -
I NEVER see it used. I tried it when it first came out and got it to work once out of roughly 20 matches. I'd rather run SC, and I hate that perk.
3 -
Dude, people here will protect any perk, I saw people claiming Distortion is a good perk.
4 -
For the People who?
2 -
This.
It just has bad requirements. If it would save a stack like Inner Strength do and, for example, activate outside of chase, it would be a lot more useful.
Distortion can help to genrush, but I agree.
3 -
To be honest, to genrush you just need good teammates. No perk will help you to quickly fix gens if your team decides to heal up with self-care.

"If I dont know how to use it, its a trash perk"
Ok bud

Try solidarity, empathy/aftercare, then the rest whatever you want. It’s so pretty great when you have a killer that likes to spread injury/sloppy butcher/thana builds. It’s not universal but it’s not useless.
0 -
Leader, LOL.
I want WGLF, DH, DS, BT and sometimes SC when I dont get Plague.
0 -
I love solidarity
0 -
Both Solidarity and Autodidact are really bad perks on their own. But I think their purpose is to be niche perks for very specific builds. But even in these builds they are really situational.
3 -
ye, we need to throw out perks for farming and self defence, lol.
0 -
Biet plays with Solidarity perfectly. You should watch his streams. He runs Solidarity, Autodiadect, We'll Make It, and Iron Will.
1 -
Autodidact + We'll Make It sound like a plan, but, if we think about it a little more, We'll Make It alone is good enough, if you activate it..
0 -
We'll Make it is strong alone. I don't know what you mean by "if you activate it" it activates every time you get an unhook. His explaination of the build is simple. Solidarity makes it so that everyone else heals you quickly when you heal them. We'll Make It 's increased healing speed makes up for the first 2 skill checks on Autodidact. Then when you start getting stacks on Autodidact you are insta healing Survivors off hook, and getting insta-healed in return.
I am not saying it's the most powerful build, but it's really fun to use, and certainly not the weakest. You can tell by that a high rank solo survivor does so well with it.

one more thing, thats IF killer is not playing like an average tunneling killer and healing perks can be used before BT.
0 -
I use it with: Empathy, Autodidact and Sprintburst. Additionally a medkit to heal yourself back up, if you really need it and can't get another solidarity.
0 -
It’s absolutely amazing with We’ll Make It, Iron Will, Dead Hard and Empathy.
Have the perks to stay injured, gain healing advantages and spot injured players to use those advantages on!
0 -
We'll Make it require to go injured after unhooks, lol.
Iron Will is a support crutch, that waste a perk slot to keep the build functional. A waste of perk slot.
Emapthy the same, a crutch you need to support a perk that barely function in combination with other perk.
DH is good in any build.
0 -
Well I’m not saying this is any “meta” build here, just a fun thing to do. Seeing how many Solidarity heals I can get is entertaining to me, like how many Head Ons can I get or how many window techs. Just all for the sake of challenging myself.
0 -
It’s very situational lol sometimes you won’t even see any use out of it why use a perk you may or may not use when you can just run perks that always work? Like DS,DH,BT and unbreakable if you want heals run a medkit
1 -
Both have their pros and cons.
Autodidact needs to stack up before it can be used effectively, punishes early but awards late, suffers the skillcheck problem.
For The People you need to be healed up otherwise you can't attempt the save, you yourself lose a health state and cannot be healed (effectively not being able to use it) for 90 seconds.
Did you just say Iron Will is a waste of a perk slot?
1 -
I have DS to not die on the first hook. Its just boring to hang there, if nobody has BT.
I have BT for those who dont have DS. Its a perk for team, it help to extend my own game, if survivors dont rush unhooks.
I have WGLF, because the grind is infinite. Thank you, devs, for ensuring that I never unlock perks for all characters and never bother to buy cosmetics for all characters. Good for me in some way.
And something to actually play with or for survival- DH / Unbreakable / Pharmacy / SC / a key + Left Behind.
Ok, IW is not bad, but you leave blood and indoor maps can easily ruin your amazing play. I dont trust IW alone.

Can't hear you over my OoO.

Decisive Strike? What if you never get hooked, tunneled, or you're only hooked once after the rest of your team has been chased out of the trial?
Dead Hard? What if you're being insta-downed from Exposed, you waste it after being baited, the killer just waits for you to use it and then swings?
Borrowed Time? What if it's the Wraith, Hag, Billy, Nurse, or Spirit and you don't get a terror radius for the unhook, or the killer has 8 stacks of Save the Best for Last and just powers through the Hardened status?
Unbreakable? What if the killer never slugs for more than 10 seconds?
They don't always work

If they could change it to where it let the survivors near you know that you have solidarity (like the change made to we'll make it) it could help make it a little more useful.

Do I need to know when my aura is revealed when I do that all the time? Not to mention, BBQ will just WHIPE all of you tokens. Plus, your teammates may be doing gens as well and, maybe, their gen is nearly finished. But, uh-oh, the killer goes to them instead of you with your 10% fixed gen. Going into a locker to save tokens takes kinda a lot of time, especially when there are no lockers nearby. Chances the perk is going to do miracles is so low that I'd honestly bring self-care instead.
Stop being scared by the idea of a killer being able to see you, if you don't get outpositioned, there is nothing to be afraid of. And to never get outpositioned, you need to watch your surrounding.

Not self-care, please. Anything but self-care. It's only good when:
a) You try to survive and get the hatch when there are only 2 survivors left and you're injured.
b) Someone left you alone nearly healed and a killer went for them.
c) This is an endgame and everything is fine, everyone is alive, you don't need to rush to the exit gates, you can just chill and waste your time because it doesn't matter.
And these are not the scenarios you see often. Otherwise, you hurt your team very much.

The point is, they work MUCH more often than the perks you try to protect. And when they work, they actually can be game changing. You can deadhard into that loop and and another circul of hell for a killer begins, you can get up and escape/heal up your downed team, you can 90% escape after being unhooked during an endgame because balance or live on instead of being smacked right to the second or the third phase on hook, you can save someone without any penality and ensuring that they'll live on (and, honey, if they have DS, it'll be extra).
Solidarity... Heals you up a bit?... By the time you reach your teammate, heal them up and get your precious bonus, you'll get as much progress as if you just let your nearby teammate heal you. Or, you know, bring a medkit. One of 50+ brown medkits you store in your inventory for some reason.
1 -
You're laughing but people here DO think solidarity is decent. 🤭
0 -
But they do 99% of the time unlike the others that have been mentioned that only work 40% of the time if that lol I’d rather run perks that I KNOW will work then perks that I have no idea about and risk only running 3 perks or 2 just my opinion tho
1 -
It can reveal exactly which aura perk a killer is running, and can give you immunity to detection. How is that not good?
Only downside is the number of uses which can burn up quickly if the killer has an aura add-on. But by then you should already know their loadout.

"Oh no, a killer can see me! What should I do??? Uh-huh, I can't allow that, not like I can loop them or anything, stealth is the only true way of winning!"
1 -
isnt stealth a vital part of dbd? (suprised pikachu face)
0 -
It used to be. Looping a killer is more effective in so many ways. Yeah, sometimes you need to remember that "oh no, I won't make it just by running against that Spirit!" but most of the times you can clearly juke around a map and hope your teammates won't waste time by, khem-khem, self-caring and stealthing around without any reasons.
0 -
"Guess I'll waste all these pallets so there are none when the killer starts making a comeback later lmao"- guy who got into a chase when he shouldn't have been
0 -
That's why you need to skip some tiles to avoid creating deadzones. If your team starts gens without wasting time, you'll be loaded with pallets by the end.
0 -
Used a few times and doesn't even seem to do what it says. Heals way less than 50% rate. Didn't even use medkit.
0 -
I don't think that's a problem with the perk itself. You don't need to heal yourself once with it for that challenge, you only need to heal another survivor once. If it took you ten games to heal another survivor, that just means you didn't heal anyone for the first nine games. That's got nothing to do with the perk.
I actually like it from time to time myself. Slap it on with We'll Make It and you can unhook a survivor, heal them, then get healed yourself all within the span of ~16 seconds. That's pretty nuts.
2 -
You, probably, can ignore this topic, because its a competitive player view. :D I understand that you dont design every perk to be a part of meta, so I cant argue with you.
I shared this opinion, because, while I played efficiently, I had a trouble to make use of Solidarity. Maybe, if you would add stacks for Solidarity and allow to use them while outside of chase (similar to Inner Strength), the perk would be good for all playstyles. 2 heals for 1 heal and outside of chase shouldnt be op.

Solidarity and we'll make it paired with kindred and better together have led to some real fun, intense and winnable games for me so far.
Empathy lets me see where the killer is when they are on someone else, which allows me to get to a safe gen or at least know when to move when that little yellow running dude is coming towards me. It also allows me to quickly find injured parties and better together allows them to quickly find me for a heal and to help on gen. We'll make it is a superb perk paired up with kindred for a safe unhook and a speedy heal.
I mean if you don't like the perk or it just doesn't work for your preferred play style I guess you can go ahead and call it trash all you want, it's your opinion. But clearly it appears to be working well for others, And i like to see the meta changing up a bit, I've seen some truly interesting builds, and i swap mine around regularly just so things don't get stale.
You might dislike solidarity but there are an awful lot of combinations out there that you might like if you get bored with your current set up.

I have seen a dude defend bloodhund.
2 -
I sometimes use Iron Will, We'll Make It, Solidarity & Aftercare / Bond and it can actually lead to some great heal plays.
0 -
I don't use that perk to get me fully healed. I mean that's very rare to get use of it like this.
In my opinion, it's decent perk because you can still save few seconds on healing yourself or your teammate.
Usualy what happends to me with this perk, both me and other injured Survivors heals each other and we save some time healing because of this perk.
