So, with nurses pick rate and kill rate low af will the devs look at her again?
Maybe removing the cool down ?

No, the cooldowns are needed to balance her powers.

But the forced look down can we get rid of that the stuns i can deal with but the looking down makes me lose track to survivors
3 -
I doubt they will. Honestly I am at the point thinking that they treat the Killer that their only role is to provide fun for the survivors, and their fun or satisfaction doesn't matter.

She's practically unplayable now, that's why

In all honesty a little faster base recharge in her blinks won't hurt. All she needs.

forget about it. she's fine, who cares if she so boring to play as? you better have fun slowly walking until you see someone, always keeping 1 blink when scouting, waiting a #########-ton of time before you blink again.
but, let's see the silver lining: sure, she's unplayable right now, boring to play as and against, devs literally buried nurse under any aspect, but at least she hasn't any bugs, right?

Honestly, the smartest move the devs could have made was leaving her alone completely. Her pick rate was already abysmal, because as strong as she was she was just as difficult at base. The add on nerfs, maybe they were ok, I think nerfing them was even stupid though, because as unfair as it felt to go against the very occasional 5 blink nurse, it still feels just as bad going against a coordinated SWF team, except with SWF there's absolutely no way you could nerf them properly. Not to mention even with all the blinks in the world, a bad nurse still lost, which is represented by her kill rate data.
People can say what they want about nurse having needed that nerf, how godlike she was "in the right hands" but honestly this was just mob rule without any logic behind it. If her pickrate was as low as it was (as well as kill rate), obviously that implied in the grand scheme she was balanced... I don't think we'll ever see specific info on the nurse again however. It would just make the dev team seem incompetent

Just remove fatigue and the lookdown. Cap her blinks at 2 maybe 3 with an addon. Problem solved. She is loud and gives away her location. The fatigue gives me physical migraines everytime.

Her fatigue already does that

I want basekit nurse back. Without using add-ons
Also, fix those damn gamebreaking bugs

Fix the bugs and she should be back on track.

It doesn't even balance her it just makes her more annoying to play.

The forced look down is the number 1 reason I don't use her. I'm colorblind and can't see scratch marks, so loosing visual contact is the end of the chase for me. I'm fine with the stun, but having to take my eyes off the target is too much.
Yes, they can break LoS already, but at least I can see the direction they did it in and anticipate what other LoS blockers are in that area. That is where intuition, anticipation, and experience come in. If I'm forced to look down, I can't see if they chose the LoS blockers to the left, right, or straight ahead.
@Peanits any chance this recommendation can be brought to the devs?

Honestly nurse just needs bug fixes and a QoL change to make fatigue not force the camera down anymore and she'd be good

Pretty much all of the top killer players in this game will quickly tell you that the nurse is the most powerful killer in the game, hands down. Just because she is very hard to use and most people can't pilot her, doesn't mean she is weak. It means she is hard. But once you put in the time and practice, she has the strongest tool in the entire game. Once you learn to predict survivors movements well enough, her killer power is the only one in the game that cannot be counterplayed. It doesn't matter how good a loop is, it doesn't matter how many pallets are around, it doesn't matter if they are all the way up inside of a building, the survivors will ALWAYS be at risk of being hit in a moments notice. No other killer can claim this power. Her cooldowns and slowdowns have to be heavy otherwise the players who CAN operate her properly would just 4k every game without even needing perks, if they aren't already.
You need to think of the nurse as like a bolt action sniper rifle in a FPS. It's harder to use, you have to aim more precisely, because if you miss, you get punished hard. But if you can get good with it, the sniper rifle is always the most broken weapon.
That being said, i don't see why they couldn't remove her looking down, if that really is an issue. I just don't think they need to make her power have less cooldown or less slowdown after missing. Other than having a few buggy obstacles, she seems perfectly fine to me. The last thing i would want is for them to buff her so that every moron could just rapid blink over and over with no skill until they finally hit you. Nobody would find that fun.

Rather than buffing/nerfing her, I would make her a bit easier to play by adding visual aids to her power. With a charge bar to the power and something to tell how much time you have before fatigue she would be more accessible imo.

I guess things like that would be fine. As long as they aren't giving her more raw power, making some of her stuff easier to read could probably help. Technically you can see how much you have charged her power by watching her hand, but its not quite as easy to read as something like huntress' charging up a hatchet throw.
They probably could rework her addon that puts an indicator on the ground that shows where you will blink to so that it actually feels smooth and can help players learn her. I tried using it not long ago and the indicator it gave me felt so clunky that it probably made my blinks worse. It gets 'stuck' on objects instead of smoothly sliding through them to give you a feel for how her blink range is scaling. This would make her a bit more accessible and learnable by people, without actually affecting her power level on already experienced players at all.

Ohh lord hear our prayer. I have a thread going for months about this. Even have gathered ideas from all the forums I’ve found plus my own. We don’t want old nurse and addons; but any ONE of these changes would be a nice.
She needs to be looked at again, that's all we are asking for.
a) DONT reset bloodlust timer on every blink. Make it like the rest of the killers, lose LOS for x time/get stunned/brake a pallet/ get a hit you know, same as other killers.
I will also repost the other suggestions but note we are not asking for all of these, only for 1 of these to be implemented:
b) Return her base kit to preenerf, leave addons as they are now.
c) increase her base speed to 4.2-4.4 just like hag/spirit/huntress, leave rest as is.
d) give her 3-4 blinks as opposed to 2, leave rest as is.
e) Make one recharge bar recharge blinks to maximum (ie. one recharge bar gives you the 2 blinks at once), leave rest as is.
f) remove the fatigue, leave rest as is.
g) remove the blink c/ds while not in a chase, that way you start every chase w 2 blinks.
