Deathslinger first impressions on PS4
BHVR, good job so far with him. He's very fun and so far doesn't seem to have any major issues quality wise. As a console player, he's more playable then huntress personally as the ADS helps to know where you are actually shooting.
Balance wise he's great 1v1, can end chases very quickly if you have the skills, and if you don't have the skills, he's easy to understand if you already play killer thanks to the simple gun play. The only thing I'd like to see changed is his range. 20-24m. It shouldn't be out of his TR, that's huntress's specialty. When you take M&A into account, yes that would be a significant danger to survivors. I'd say it's fair as it's a perk slot taken, and like huntress and across-map snipes, survivors should be on the lookout once they realize he has a low TR. If you as a killer make a effort to be sneaky, you should be awarded.
However, fun does not mean a viable killer. His slow movement means I'm loading in to every game expecting gens to fly and I'll find a good 3 gen to camp. It does work mostly, but it doesn't promote of lots of chases. Less chasing, less fun for everyone. Sadly, nothing could buff Deathslinger to be competent in this category. This is the game without ruin, and i hope you guys are looking into it.

I think while better than huntress he is still not anywhere remotely as good as his pc counterpart. This is because the quick and precise aim needed to hit a survivor at a loop is significantly harder to line up on controller. Both this character and launch oni were prime examples of why we need keyboard and mouse on console. DBD is easily one of the best primed games for this option, with the opposing side being almost the same level of strength on a controller. I sincerely don't understand why bhvr is so stubborn on this matter.
