Any chance we can disable ranked mode without having two seperate player pools? Disabling ranked will replace the rank with a contender rating  (a seperate ranked system to ensure matchmaking stays balanced) and it of course would be overwritten by your current rank if your rank is higher than your contender rating. 

I feel we need something like this, because I want to experiment with new killers or play casually without being punished for it. If I de-rank from using a new killer, the poor higher rank players will be at my mercy when I switch to my main to go back down to rank 1. There really is no safe way to practice and it makes the game feel one sided and frustratingly limited.

    What is the purpose of a "contender rank" if it would be overwritten by your actual rank.
    That doesnt make any sense to me

    Do you mean like a league of legends style system? Where you have ranked matches and unranked matches but who you get matched up against is determined by your actual rank.

    Because if your contender rank decreases, you won’t care because it doesn’t effect your actual rank. It’s a seperate rank for just screwing around.

    If you defend the game and pretend like it’s faults aren’t faults then it won’t ever get any better.
