Stop looping around a hooked person FFS
I have seen this so much lately, someone gets hooked and one of my teammates is stealthily nearby and gets caught... so they proceed to do circles around the loop preventing us from saving the person either.
If you’re not gonna trade or use BT run awayyyyyy from the hook! The best part is at endgame chat they alway whine about camping.

SOOOO MUUUUUCH THIS!!!!
I swear there are times where I'd be better off literally being solo and having no teammates than have some of these dum dums on my team :D

if the only pallette or valid loop nearby is next to the hook person sorry but not sorry , i will try to move away maybe if i notice another decent loop further away but i aint gonna kill myself either

Eat one hit and use the speed boost to get to that loop

Naw keep doing this, I love the free camp. Ez map pressure.

It never ceases to amaze me the amount of times people run at the hook or hide right next to it, proceed to get caught and then do the Benny Hill dance around the hook. Firstly, you have time before second phase hits, to safely unhook. Secondly, it pays to wait for the killer to get far enough away that they can't just immediately come roaring back and catch you at it.
I get that a loop might be near, but personally I'll eat a hook if it means drawing the killer away so that the other people can get the save and get healed up.
Granted I run a build specifically for safe unhooks that also give me decent BP (WMI, Kindred, Empathy, WGLF) but even without a build like that, you have time to wait, get a safe save and deny the killer a very quick start of an early snowball. If you are running around the hook, chances are you are going to get downed before the others can sneak in and unhook. Things tend to go to s**t at that point and it can get very hard to pull back to a strong position. Especially when a survivor does the exact same thing the next time.
The truth is. If you are going to swarm or loop the hook, the killer has no damn reason to not stay where they are and let you run into their weapon. That ain't camping, that's just capitalising on survivor behaviour.

"Doing the Benny Hill dance around the hook"....Lmao!!

Had one person who wouldn't budge while hiding under a hooked Dwight. Had to go off and do something else just so their ######### teammate wouldn't sandbag them. Then Dwight immediately jumped on a gen after I let him go.
I just don't know sometimes.

thx doctor obvious but sometime i am injured and can't tank 1 hit or i know that there is no more pallettes in the map outside of the ones there so even if i take a hit and go away its pretty much me killing myself

I have a teammate who does this constantly, tries to hook tech/ loops around the hook you're on and seems to have no idea how detrimental this is to your team (I know hook teching is scummy, try telling him that!).
I play killer more and trust me when I say, a survivor that does this is like my personal assistant, they are helping me get that kill.

If you're injured you can at least head away, while he downs you and hooks you the teammate gets saved but i guess it's about YOU not TEAM
Hook tech isn't even scummy, it's stupid. Give a killer the chance to "camp" two players at once meaning even if the other two are pounding gens most likely noone is escaping.

any survivor who does this always cries camper... but it’s as easy as not being toxic and not going for the save immediately in the killer’s face. i think they have gotten too used to BT? which is why i play freddy lmao
but seriously survivors shouldn’t do this. the killer has no incentive to leave. no reason not to camp. you’re basically giving him the free kills.

Good point, I don't think BT is overpowered but it teaches bad habits. I don't use it, I just make smart saves. Now granted sometimes you have an endgame camper that BT is the only way to get around, but 99% of times I see it used by someone who follows the killer chasing their teammate and unhooks them immediately.
