Matchmaking is so bad atm.
Hey, why is the matchmaking so broken? I'm not a very experienced killer (i'm only rank 12 atm) and all my games i'm going against 1500+ hours survivors. I don't even have 200 hours in this game. Usually there's one green rank survivor (like me) and then 3 red ranks, or 2 red ranks and a high purple. I guess this is because of swf? one red rank survivor queue-ing up with a green rank, but why they have to play against low rank killers? if 2/3 people play swf and 2 of them are red and one green, they should play against a higher rank killer. Isn't this logical?

yeah, i am solo sur, and i get paired wth rank 12 kiler with all teammates at rank 12, its definitely no fun, i mean if killer chases me, we will winn the game and its fraustrating for killer, and if killer chases them, they are down in 5 sec.. so its no fun playing this game anymore.

They have changed matchmaking again without updating patch notes.
I mentioned in a couple of post but seems they have just chucked rainbow colour survivors together.
Also SWF isn't doing what they were doing previously, playing with a low rank will give you a low rank killer again

Probably swfs. I am a rank 4 with over 2K in game, one of my swfs is a rank 2, one is a rank 4, has another rank 9 and one who is rank 16. Last night even have a rank 14 killer...the rank 14 being matched with the 14 obviously. But what if the killer was a rank 4 instead...then not all that fair to the rank 16. Someone is going to get the short end of the stick. I have a smurf account too as a rank 16 and I face killers who are rank 17 and I have 2K in game and them have 60 hours...more times than not that are little better than bots when I play against them. Never going to be perfect especially when you have a wide range of ranks and hours played in swf groups...either the low rank swfs are going to get messed over or the noob killer is.

i am on ps4 and some hours ago i tried to find a match as a survivor .It took 12 minutes and I hadn't had patience anymore and I switched to play as killer.it took 5 seconds and it found me a full lobby.Why does it take so long as a survivor to find a match?

Well, you have to have 1 killer and 4 survivors to play killer. Let's just say, for example, there are 95 survivors and 5 killers. That means only 25% of people can play, while the other have to wait to find another killer.
Basically, what I am saying is people dont want to play killer. Most would rather deal with a solo-que team than dealing with 4 people who will probably be higher ranked and lots more hours. I also have a hypothesis that swf teams get priority over solos. This could also be an issue.

Can just talk for Xbox, but when I play as the smurf (rank 15) I get a lobby nearly instantly as my main rank 4 it can take 10 minutes. The reason as it tries to match you as best as you can plenty more purple and red survivors than purple and red killers. The theories behind this run from too many survivors being promoted to the red and purple ranks due to the changes in the rank resets to high ranked killers either quitting the game or deranking so far less killers at the high ranks. I also find it faster when my swf is say 4, 4, 9, 16 (and we face a rank 12 killer) than when we are 2, 4, 4, 9 (and play a rank 2 killer).

My mistake thought he was the killer...any event the killer did well in that game anyway.
But how do you know? The screenshot doesn't imply that nor did the post indicate which one they were. I'd assume it was the rank 11 complaining about the matchmaking not one of the rank 1s.

Your "line" where you can see your perks, bp earned, items, rank it's highlighted. He was the guy with 16k bp, the yellow medkit, head on dead hard build
