Why do Survivors think you need to "earn" kills?
If I bamboozle shack with no pallet and you get chainsawed, I earned that kill just as much as a Huntress who predicted a shot. You got punished for being dumb so you earned that down. Deal with it

Why do killers think you need to earn an escape? If I bs my way to the gate with a bt hit into ds stun into dead hard I earned that just as much as if I skillfully evaded the killer in endgame and escaped when he wasn't looking. You got punished for not applying enough pressure and letting the match end. Deal with it.
It's a two way street, and if I'm being honest there's absolutely nobody I know who would say that you didn't earn that kill. Who on earth are you talking to cause I'd love to meet them.

Simple. Having a kill handed to you by, say, Carb Tuning Guide and Primer Bulb, NoED, hardcore tunnelling, deleted by a tombstone Myers when you've never been hit, mindless facecamping, Iri heads and chainsaws within 5 meters all come under a single classification for survivors: incredibly dumb and unsatisfying ways to be taken out that seemingly require next to no skill on the side of the killer.
If I'm expected to utilise god-loops and pallets all game, then why do killers get a free pass with all their BS? Or get to freely complain about the survivor equivelants?
It's as @Doddle28 said, it's two-way street. Either we all get to complain about the dumb situations if both sides, we all ignore them, or we come together and try to do something about them.

Oh, and also because as someone who plays both sides, it's because I both earn mine and because I can somewhat sympathise with the survivor's point of view.

Nothing is 'earned'. You either live or you die, doesn't matter how.

You dont need to earn anything its just a game, play like you want.

It’s doesn’t matter, it’s a game.
Survivors don’t like things like Iri Head, insta saw, Bamboozle, NOED, Spirit, etc because it doesn’t fit the basic DBD formula and it’s very unsatisfying to lose to those things.
Same way killers don’t like exhaustion perks, body-blocking, teabagging, and survivors BM’ing them. It’s unsatisfying.
There is nothing wrong with any of the things I list, people just don’t like them.

A lot of people, myself included, take a more competitive approach, but it's an RNG game at its core. Not much is really earned in this game. Every good strategic decision can be countered with the press of a button by the other side: Dead Hard, Unbreakable, Enduring/Spirit Fury, NOED, Key, Mori, etc. And that's before we even get into killer/map tile RNG.

Survivors want easy wins with all games just easy holding m1 and easy loops while expecting killers to jump through 50 hoops so entitled and selfish
