Why god loops dosen't counted as game exploits?
Why they are not game exploits when the killer have to leave a survivor completely because it is impossible to catch the survivor?

Because it's in the game. Also some killers completely counter infinites. The select few don't have any power against them, but most killers can do something.
Who'd you main?

Because nobody cares and the devs do not. Otherwise garbage like the infinite of sanctum would never ever see the light of day. Imagine that you kinda know acknowledge that you have to rework old maps due to mistakes on those maps yet you keep pushing out new stuff with the same problems.
In the end it is ignorance or incompetence.
2 -
Because while they could very much be called mistakes in map design, they are technically working as intended.
1 -
Because nobody is exploiting anything? They’re working exactly as intended.
As frustrating as it is to have to deal with busted loops and structures, it’s not cheating, it’s not exploiting anything, and it isn’t against the rules. You may think it’s tacky or unsportsmanlike but it’s allowed.
1 -
What infite does sanctum have?
3 -
It's true that it isn't an exploit but I'm not sure about "working as intended".
Sure, producer of this game was high enough to say that they require skill and are a mindgame but let's ignore him for now.
They just require huge investment of time so most killers just give up chases at the point survivor reaches them. Sadly, some maps are build so that structure is always accessible and killers might as well give up at that point.
Looking at breakable wall in killers shack and few structured on the new map it looks like single person dedicated small amount of time to mitigate or remove infinite-like structures from the new map.

Because they are intentional, the devs have decided that it is NECESSARY for survivors to have a way to easily and infinitely get away from the killers that requires 0 thought with the exception of simply not using it to save it for.later.

Because most maps have one, give up the gen in/near that building it sucks but it’s the best solution

Bad map design isn't an exploit unless players are actively glitching the game in some way.

This, it’s basically like camping/tunneling it isn’t “fun,” for the other wide buts it’s a fair strategy out in the game
0 -
If it's a designed feature by the dev, is it really an exploit?
0 -
As sad as it is, it was an intentional design that the developers made, which just speaks volumes about the developers considering they're still in the game.

Infinite of Sanctum?
0 -
Not an exploit. Just poor design.

Use Bamboozle.

OP doesn't have any idea what "exploit" means...
1 -
imagine if survivors had to use a perk to fix a broken mechanic that favoured killers.
Because that's what you're implying.
0 -
Well it's not bannable because it's possible to catch the survivor, because infinites don't exist.
0 -
Decisive Strike, Borrowed Time, Unbreakable...........
Sound familiar?
0 -
Yeah imagine survivors need to use DS, BT or Unbrekable to counter broken mechanics like tunneling, camping and slugging. Oh wait, they have to!
0 -
It doesn’t matter how long they take, they’re working as the devs intended because you run around them and press a button, just like any other loop. Some of these loops have been in the game for years, if they were bugged or exploitable in some way they would have been removed, like many other exploits or unintended gameplay features - hook techs, trapping under the hook, Legion moonwalking, the crane tech on Autohaven, fast vaults with no momentum, survivors climbing onto rocks, etc.

I will abuse god loops when i get tunnel off the hook or when the killer chasing me for over a minute. After that, the killer wants only you because he gets a** kicking.

Sorry for the late answer, hardly here anymore.
It can spawn, doesn't always. Killer Shack into junglegym with long wall, ayrun even made a video about it and you can find it on his youtube.

Survivors have to use ds to counter tunneling or bt to counter camping
0 -
For the same reason that camping and tunneling a survivor isn't an exploit.
0 -
Because breakable walls will coming soon :)
0 -
Ok no problem, but I wouldn't call that an infinite. At least I believe it isn't one. I do agree that such structures shouldn't exist, because they are pretty much uncounterable as killer, but that's rng.

Still no answer. Op is just biased towards killers . Close this thread.

These don't fix broken killer mechanics. These fix annoying playstyles.
0 -
Uh it actually is, try it out in kyf. You can comfortably loop the killer without any hassle at all due to the windows which you can simply vault.
0 -
Because exploiting is using a bug or a glitch to gain an advantage.
God loops have an intended use, otherwise they would of been removed already.
0 -
Because they're a game feature, hence not an exploit. Same as the basement for killers. Devs choices, definitely questionable ones.
