Perk tiers need to go

Perk tiers used to be necessary when this game had 4 killers and 5 survivors, I agree. But nowadays they are beyond unnecessary! We have a total of 77 survivor perks (63 teachables) and 69 killer perks (57 teachables), this means we need to get 231 survivor perk tiers and 207 killer perk tiers in total to get the full experience with 1 character.

Main Killers' problem is bigger since a main survivor can max only one survivor (after getting all teachables of all other survivors). But if you are a main killer who enjoy playing with different killers, getting all perks in all killers is sooooooo grindy! 207 killer perk tiers for 19 different killers! 3933 perk tiers! If playing killer is already painful, playing it with the wrong perks or useless tiers is torture! I can't imagine how many BP (and gameplay hours) would be necessary to max every killer in the game. I have 1k hours and I still couldn't max out all of them (not to mention that I haven't prestigied any killer!)

Can we PLEASE consider letting perk tiers stay in the past? This game NEEDS to start looking to its own future! If its present is already unbearable, imagine with more and more DLCs!

@Peanits are you guys thinking about it?

P.S.: Sorry for bad grammar :( I tried my best, but english isn't my main language

Yeah, I agree; the perk tiers really do nothing except to prolong the bloodweb and grind of the game.

Since there isn't a benefit for having lower tier perks, theres no reason to have them. They're redundant, just used as padding.

It would be different if they gave us maybe some small drawbacks in other areas once we take on higher rarity perks. Or gave us benefits or reasons to take on lower tier perks.

Like, if you take on uncommon Corrupt Intervention, it only lasts 60 seconds but it activates multiple times throughout the match as gens get completed, whereas highest tier activates once but for two minutes. Stuff like that.

but yeah, as it stands, there's no reason to take low tier perks, therefore it only acts as padding.

I agree. Perk tiers are a symbol of the past and should be left in the past.

Agreed, removing Perk tiers would great decrease the Grind.

I like the grind. You dont need every perk. Just unlock what you need from survivor or store and reduce trash perks from being built upon.

You can't "just unlock what you need" since the perks you get on the bloodweb are RNG. At least it SHOULD be, but the entity is really insistent with perks you don't want. Also, the point here is about the tiers! Sometimes you get the perk you needed, but not the tier you needed. For example, tier 1 Whispers is useless.

I agree, having a small-medium grind isn't a bad thing to make you work for it but through all the DLC, this is now a big grind.

If you really think about it, this is an interesting and good idea.

I agree, perk tiers should go. Instead, make perks cost more. I'd say 5000 BP each, or something. Or 6000 if the tier 3 variant is what would stay in the final version.

we need either this or a permanent boost to bloodpoint gain, this isn't 2017 anymore

I think reducing from 3 tiers to 1 would make more sense since we would have to spend less bloodweb levels to reach the complete perk we need. Only boosting BP wouldn't be enough. It would be needed to boost like 3x or more, idk. Also, the BP cap (another cheap mechanic) would need to go, too, which isn't going to happen apparently.

Totally! With 9k per perk or even more expensive, it would still be worth, since the cost per tier isn't only the cost per each tier, but the cost per each bloodweb level you have to grind through.

This would be a huge help when prestiging your characters. I'd be down for this.

Really disagree with this. I enjoy the grind.

Are you main killer? What is your rank as killer? How many gameplay hours do you have? How many maxed killers do you have? Just to understand your preference...

No im main survivor and im trying to get all survivors and killers p3 with all perks. I play killer but mainly survivor so the grind is real. Much harder to grind bp as a survivor instead of killer. It would be so much quicker and easier if I was a killer main.
