Mettle of man doesn't work when activated
Took 3 protection hits, MoM activated, but didn't protect from dying state.
Occured when Deathslinger shot his gun at me. and hit me after reeling me in. Don't really know how to reproduce it. This is how it happened.
1. Took 3rd protection hit in front of a hook.
2.MoM activated.
3.I got hooked.
4.Got saved and healed (the "I'm invisible" icon in the hud disappeared, but MoM remained activated in the perk hud).
5.Healthy -> injured hit. All is fine, although still no you-can't-hit-me-icon in the hud. MoM seems activated.
6.Deathslinger shot me, and downed me. MoM is still activated in the perk hud but didn't protect from injured -> dying hit.

Not sure if this matters or not, but when he hit you at step 5, did he m1 or did he shoot you? I ask because maybe there is a bug here since he shot you the first time, you already had to mend, and when you got downed it didn't put you in the bt/mend state because you were already in it.

Shouldn't matter, MoM doesn't make you mend

On step 5 did he shoot you? MoM will not activate if you are suffering from Deep Wounds. So if you're healthy, then get deep wounds, MoM will not work until you mend. If you get hit while in Deep Wounds, it does not activate.
I don't know why this is how it works, but it is how it works and how it has worked since it's release.

Yes, he did shoot me both times so I probably had deep wound timer. It's pretty stupid that MoM doesn't work with deep wounds, it's already pretty weak as is.
