Is this possible?
Hey there.
So first of all, this is going to sound really stupid. But according to a data mine my friend and I saw, I’m interested in getting the next stuff for the new Rift. However, I’m in a bad situation at home and my mother won’t let me have my PS4 for an unknown amount of time. Possibly past the time of the Rift.
So my question for you. If I gave my trusted friend my PS4 information, can she get on and purchase the stuff and I still get it? Keep in mind this would have to be done on her PS4, as we are in different states. Now I know what you’ll say about not sharing information like that, but this is beyond me due to my unfortunate situation that’s not appropriate to discuss here.
Just trying to figure out if purchases are console bound or account bound. Thank you for your time.

They are account bound. If they buy it on their PS4 while on your account, it saves on the account, not the console. So you should get what they bought when you log in. I don't have a PS4 so I can't be certain on it.

Ok thank you for clearing that up.

Everything you do in-game is account bound. Buying skins, your save-file, your progress, everything. If something ties to your DBD account, it's linked to your PSN. This means DLC too since DLC attaches itself to your PSN once bought, it isn't stored on the PS4 itself.
As for The Rift itself, you have about 70 or so days to complete it, so you should have enough time to get back on. But then again, I don't know what your situation is, so you'll have to wait and see.
