Ultra-Rare add-on with Ace In The Hole

In a recent poll, Ace and Quentin were elected worst survivors of the roster, not because of the aesthetics, but because of the weakness / worthlessness of their perks. Furthermore, toolboxes have been nerfed, add-ons are lost after the trial (except for those who run Ace In The Hole, which then simply neutralizes the general debuff, keeping the situation identical to before), genrush cooperation has been justly penalized.

Open-Handed is useless in itself, but can be good in combination with aura-reading perks.

Up The Ante should probably be reworked, along with Luck mechanic/offerings and Slippery Meat.

Instead, I would like to suggest a small buff to Ace In The Hole, that is to restore the possibility that the first add-on found with the item in a chest is Ultra-Rare.

There is no danger of altering the balance, in fact:

1) the repair time saved with Brand New Part is less than the time spent to find a chest, search it, collect the toolbox with the add-on and reach a gen to be repaired;

2) any flashlight saver can testify the Odd Bulb is an expensive add-on, because it accelerates the battery consumption, whose life should instead be prolonged with the well-known META green battery + yellow filament build;

3) the Anti-Haemorrhagic Siringe is useful in chases, but less dangerous than the Styptic Agent, capable of neutralizing even a double damage hit (NOED, Myers 3, Chainsaws...).

In other words, the ability to find ultra-rare add-ons in a chest does not harm the killer and does not help the genrush: other add-ons, which can be looted today, are stronger for those purposes.

Also, those who use Ace In The Hole (often paired with Plunderer's Instinct) usually prefer to collect treasures rather than consume them, and both the Siringe and the New Part are destroyed when used: they will probably do their best to survive and get their precious gift. Looters don't genrush, they play nicely, and this buff will give them more reasons to run a non-META build and will increase the game overall health. :)

    I mean, you chose 1 perk that's probably the best out of the three and doesn't really need buffing.

    not help the genrush

    Also that is kinda untrue at this point cause BNP does give the most gen speed potential.

    Hi, Milo! As I previously wrote, "the repair time saved with Brand New Part is less than the time spent to find a chest, search it, collect the toolbox with the add-on and reach a gen to be repaired". :)
