The theme for the next chapter

Water. Just picture it. The game loads in with a 5th generator just being powered. The entire map fills up with water. And Jaws swims into the map. The structures on the map are crushed by the amount of water that pool into the map at once. Leaving platforms that the survivors have to hop between. Of course Jaws can eat them as he chases the survivors across them. Swimming mechanic is added into the game. But while in water the survivors have little chance.

Of course this is crazy seeing as they haven't figured out any way to add anything other then pallet after 4 years. But hey maybe something big will come out at some point!

Also, a castle/medieval themed one. Castles are like one of the most popular places that people visit for haunting and ghosts. I'm actually pretty surprised we don't have one in the "horror" game yet.

For real life killers I think Jack the Ripper would be their safest bet. I don't think it'd be fair to the victims or their family's if we were to have Jeffery Dhamer or Ted Bundy as playable killers. It would be in poor taste. Jack the Ripper might be a safer bet because he has become almost a mythical figure. Perhaps H.H. Holmes would be interesting, but overall I'd like it if they avoided real life killers.

Licensed I would love a Hannibal Lecter chapter. Have him as the killer and Clarice as the survivor, but I'm not sure what his perks would be. You could make the argument that we already have one cannibal killer, but there's enough meat to go around. The licensed killer I'd least like to see is Pinhead. I never liked the movies, and he would be lame. Alien would be cool, but they'd have to change Alien's meta to get it to be a servant of the Entity. Another killer that I'm pretty sure would be licensed is Dr.Jekyll/Mr.Hyde, but there would be a challenge with having a dual personality that is good in one form and evil in another. They would have to make it so that Dr.Jekyll was also a killer which would kind of ruin the chapter.

Original killers are my favorite, it allows for the most unique killers. I like the spider-human hybrid idea, and I think it'd be great to also add some sort of Lovecraftian monsters in the game.

It might sound cliche but I swear I had these thoughts independently months apart, but I'm really looking for a Water / Fire themed chapters.

The water themed chapter title would be "Tide of Terror" and would feature a killer fisherman armed with a long fishing spear, or what I like better a killer in an old-timey Dive Suit - the ones with the heavy metal boots and metal helmet with porthole windows to see through who would also be equipped with the same weapon. The map for this kind of killer would be something like an old ship yard or dock, or possibly some isolated island with a lighthouse, or maybe a giant Shipwreck of a huge ship that has multiple decks. The overall feel and tone of the chapter would be very melancholy and filled with tragedy featuring a killer with a tragic past or backstory for lore (probably drowned, perhaps the diving suit malfunctioned and there's a hole in the back of it where water flooded into the helmet). To see how this old timey dive suit has been adapted for a horror aesthetic look no further than the Big Daddy's of the Bioshock series

The fire chapter would be the exact opposite and feel very high energy potentially inspiring emotions like rage, actually isn't my own idea, but something I heard from HybridPanda's YT channel awhile back, the chapter title is "Rise from the Ashes" and features a Firefighter for a killer who used to protect people from fires, but after his death / disappearance after the last intense fire he responded to, now uses those same fires against his victims. "The Phoenix" uses a combination of fire and smoke to burn and debilitate the survivors, dressed in full fireman equipment with an oxygen tank strapped to his back, a fireman's Gas Mask strapped around his face and a helmet over his head he wields a fireman's axe.

The Fireman's Axe would look different from the Huntress axe because it has a sharp point sticking out the opposite end (potential use in a Mori) but if it still felt too Huntress-y I had this idea that he could wield a Fire Hook instead, which the kind I have in mind is a kind of Forcible Entry Tool that Firemen can use that could probably be repurposed to be a pretty cruel looking weapon to swing around as a killer. I think the map for this killer would probably be the last fire he tried to put out, maybe it could be giant burned forest which is still smoking and it turns out he was fighting a forest fire before he disappeared or it could be a burned yet still standing building kind of like the asylum but much more visibly burnt, a skeleton of the former structure.

Just some wacky thoughts I like to think about, obviously the Fire themed chapter is more developed than the Water one because it's not my own, and has a whole video dedicated to it, but really I'd love to see both pretty equally. I think I'd like to see the water theme a tad more because there's a lot of room to make something really cool for that map-wise the devs just started to change the background beyond the walls of the map with the most recent Dead Dawg Saloon location where you can see rising mountains and a sun just beginning to rise after a gruesomely chilling night which isn't quite over, if we could see something like that, but with crashing waves and rain that would be pretty cool.

Of course let's be honest, we're all looking for the next licensed killer chapter which could be Pinhead, Pennywise, or Candyman are the top 3 likeliest candidates imo. Pinhead theme would be something about sin and purgatory type deal, Pennywise is all about your inner fears (and killer clowns), and Candyman has his whole shtick about being an urban legend (and a lot about bees). Would not mind seeing any of these three at all
