What about those ex-players?
Okay, so, Dead by Daylight is by far my favorite game to play on Xbox, like I can sit and play for 24-hours straight and I'm sure some of y'all can agree. The only problem is... What if you can't afford the game pass? You might need to talk to xbox about this, but even though it is a multiplayer game, you don't have to actually talk or chat with the other players. That would be so awesome if you could still play without the gamepass at the cost of teamwork. Because, if you think about it, it is a positive on the killers side because then there won't be full communication with the players and its still possible to win without communication through calls. It would honestly help many others play too and if those costs arent enough you could cut out access to other things too. I'm just saying I love to play it, but can't without a gamepass and I see a win win on both sides, anyone else got ideas?

I mean, I wouldnt mind the game being free for everyone, but then the developers would make half as much money and have to rely on In Game purchases. It would make things take twice as long to be released, and devs would have to put less time in due to funding. So it would in the end make the game less enjoyable

That's not what I meant, I have the game, but I can't play it because I dont have the gamepass, my friend bought it for me as a gift

So the game can still be bought, I'm talking more about being able to play it somehow without needing the gamepass

If a console requires a subscription for online play, the company that makes the console will need to make that decision about a specific game not needing it. Contact Microsoft with this.

This is on the console manufacturers, not Behaviour, I'm afraid. Online-only games requiring an artificial subscription of sorts thanks to console manufacturers sucks, but it's a regrettably standardised aspect of console gaming.
