Yes, and it should not be changed

Sadly yes, though I wish it is punished because it makes games irritating for Survivors and stupidly easy for Killers.

I was wondering because I did it and then someone told me they reported me.

I think it might be forbidden. After all, it could be interpreted as working with the other side or as rage quitting. You definitely wouldn't have any trouble finding an acurate category in the report UI. Obviously, actually getting punished for it is a whole other matter.

i think they should remove struggle. because who fails hitting a key like aaaaaaaaaa. it will make games easier for new players also. they are trying to make games easier with ruin change, attemp escape change.

Yep, if it wasn't they wouldn't have put a button there to give you a 4% chance to escape, or make you spam the spacebar to keep from dying. i have tendonitis in my wrist and I have suicided a few times accidentally because my hand spasmd when spamming the spacebar.

Its allowed but it sucks. BHVR would have no way of knowing if it was intentional or not. They give a 4% chance of escaping hook so people want to take their chances

As said above, yes it's fine.
But there is still an on-going debate on if DCing and dying on the first hook are one in the same, since you're technically leaving the game early because of some self centered reason. Or it could be because you had to do something... Either way, you're still leaving the same early (technically). So as of right now, it's fine to die on the hook. Will this be the case in the future though? I don't know.
