REQ: Suicide button when in dying state.
Can there please be a suicide in dying state button ? I really don't appreciate getting slugged for 10 minutes because the killer wants to secure a 4k. Just let me get onto the next match please, I don't care if I lose at this point or what happens to the other survivor the killer's already won. Just let me let go, like on the hooks.
Or at least make the dying time faster.
edit: I don't mean slugged once or twice, like after the killer downs you after getting hooked. which can easily be countered by bringing unbreakable. i'm talking about 2v1 matches where you get slugged 5-8 times, the killer finds one of the two and this just continues until both are downed or one dies from the bleed out.

The dying timer is 4 minutes so survivors have a chance to counter slugging. If you're having problems with slugging just pick up π ±οΈills perk so you can get up and destroy the slugger.
It really shouldn't be a huge problem since the healing on a downed person caps at 95% which is like 1 or 2 seconds of healing...

I already requested this a really long time ago when I was first picking up the game. I didn't really understand everything yet, but one thing I noticed was that you could pretty much ######### on hook and that seemed to be allowed, but there was no option to do the same sort of thing while just being slugged.
I asked in a livestream once while they were answering questions, and I had a mod or something tell me essentially "just use unbreakable or no mither" or something like that. My answer was something like "You can only use unbreakable once and no mither constantly keeps you injured so either way it still stinks. Plus you can just prematurely end your game while on hook, so why not just allow a "give up" option like 50% of the way through the dying bleedout?" and then I was told "I'll address your concern to the team" or something.
That was a year ago or something, so I'm pretty sure nothing came of that.

Thatβs just a bad idea, cause letβs say it would be like dc but rather then getting the penalty you can just suicide before you get picked up.

They could make it that you have to lay there for a while. Like if the killer doesn't pick you up in a fair amount of time you can give up.
If the killer just pikes you up and trops you down to reset the timer, they could make it that it doesn't reset if your did not break free or get hooked.

I would support that, especially cause I get slugged, but never forget those toxic survivors that leave on theyβre first down

I don't know, I think slugging has enough counters as is.

The mods that pick the questions are pretty trashy like that, just assigned to pick questions that fit in with their echo chamber agenda.

Are you really suggesting someone use No Mither as a legitimate perk, not a meme? π€£

I agree when your other 2-3 teammates are alive, but when it's just you and 1 other teammate and the killer is lording over you as bait to try and secure a 4k, I agree - I dont wanna lay there for 4 minutes staring up the asscrack of the killer or have him stutter follow me in hopes I'm slugging it toward the other play. Especially if I'm death hook anyway. Just lemme let go. π

That would be a neat idea, suicide while dying if you've been hooked and your bleed out timer is over 50% progress.

Oops, I meant Bills. Yeah I would never suggest no mither unless you're playing against a killer who is trying to play fair and not abuse that perk lol. I try not to but sometimes it's unavoidable.

This would be abused by high rank SWF if they wanted their friend to escape. So no, it will not be a good addition.

Or while you're slugged try and move around and find the hatch. I've actually escaped like that

This is just sad. Is the game really that bad for survivors?

π that makes more sense <3

if this would be implemented , considering that a person in the dying state who "gives up" would be like a dc just to let the last survivor get the hatch , the only way to implement this game mechanic would be that if you do decide to give up just so that the last survivor could use the hatch , any points you accumulated during the match would go directly to the killer when it ends and you would lose your items , then I can agree with this option being implemented , even though I personally do not

Or maybe your gaming experience has been better than others since not all killers play a like. That being said, if you can reach the hatch when the killer slugs all 4 of you with 0-1 gen outside of sheer luck, let me know :)

What you need is this change:
Survivors in the dying state no longer have a life bar. Instead, after remaining in one place on the ground for 30 or more seconds, crows will begin to land on a dying survivor's body. A new crow will land every 10-15 seconds. After there are 4 crows on a dying survivor, a murder will descend from above to consume the survivor alive. A killer or survivor running within 4 meters of the survivor will scare all the crows off. Crows will immediately begin landing once the disturbance has left.
Best solution imo because it fits the horror atmosphere of DbD while allowing enough time (60 seconds minimum) for killers to find a survivor that has given up.

I've seen survivors kill them selves on purpose so the other survivors can escape. This would be a massive mistake an make more people not want to play as killer. We don't need survivors even more over powered than they already are.
